“Assorted” Collector
The conferences are over. We are now going into the heart of the story - where the carnival takes place. In the future, most of the issues are on the contests, but let's not go there yet. Let's start out with the first day.
After the conferences, all teams have dissolved. The builders came in to StarFall. The town didn't have enough land, so they decided to have the carnival on the plateau west of StarFall, which had enough land for a hotel lodge and the entire carnival, including the roller coaster. The construction began on January 25th, 2015. The opening times are from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM for 7 days.
While the construction was in process, all the humans had to get jobs. Kaylee was the manager and announcer for the winter carnival. Jenny works in the dining lodge as the chef. A few animal employees were hired as well. Penny was the referee for the Champion Tournament. Lola was the vendor for the Skating Lake, where ice skating takes place. The rest were either engineers or referees for the other contests. Mica, Oscar, Matthew, and Charlie were the engineers for Winter Mountain, The Blizzard, Snow-nado, and Icicle Wheel, respectively. Kenny, Lenny, Tracy, and Joey were the referees for the Skiing Race, Sledding Race, Snowmobile Design Contest, and the Winter Treasure Hunt, respectively. Holly, Helen, Stacy, and Zoey were referees for the Snowman Building Contest, Igloo Building Contest, Snowball Fight, and Winter Cook-Off, respectively. At the same time, Kaylee hired some other animals to help with the event. Isabelle works at the Ticket Booth, Tom Nook works at the gift shop, Blathers is the vendor for Winter Fishing (the carnival game), Celeste is the vendor for Winter Balloon Pop, Mable was the vendor for Snowball Hoops (ball toss), Sable was the vendor for Snow Cups (similar to knock the bottles), Timmy was the vendor for Snowmobile Races, and Digby was the vendor for Snowman Hunt (similar to duck shoot).
On February 8th, 2015, the winter carnival opens to all. 80 animals from all over the Animal Crossing universe went to the carnival. Before the gates opened, Kaylee made an announcement.
"Ladies and gentlemen!" said Kaylee, "boys and girls! It's time to announce that the winter carnival is now open! There are a few things I like to talk about before we open the gates. There are rides to ride, carnival games to play, and a few other things. But there are eight contests to attend. If you want to participate in a contest, you must donate 200 Bells to the referee in front of the entry gates of each contest and be part of the first eight. If eight already signed up, the contest is full. For the next four days, two of the contests will run each day. First place winners have an advantage to participating in the ultimate contest, the Champion Tournament. That contest will be held on Friday. You better hope that you win the contests. Let the gates open!"

Every attraction required tickets. The carnival games cost more tickets for more credits, but the rides costed even more tickets. The most popular ride is Winter Mountain.
For the contests, one animal of each personality was fast enough to sign up for each one. Aurora, Sprinkle, Flo, Gwen, Roald, Cube, Tex, and Hopper signed up for the Igloo Building Contest. Caroline, Peanut, Hazel, Blaire, Sheldon, Filbert, Marshal, and Static signed up for the Snowman Building Contest. Mitzi, Rosie, Katt, Ankha, Mac, Biskit, Shep, and Butch signed up for the Snowmobile Designing Contest. Goldie, Cookie, Cherry, Portia, Hamlet, Clay, Rodney, and Hamphrey signed up for the Winter Treasure Hunt. Celia, Bunnie, Mira, Amelia, Pierce, Doc, O'Hare, and Apollo signed up for the Winter Cook-Off. Ava, Truffles, Pashima, Tipper, Coach, Egbert, Chops, and Gruff signed up for the Snowball Fight. Fauna, Twiggy, Fuchsia, Robin, Bam, Anchovy, Jacques, and Bruce all signed up for the Skiing Race. Pekoe, Pate, Phoebe, Willow, Drift, Deli, Julian, and Chow all signed up for the Sledding Race.
The schedule of the contests for the Winter Carnival is on Monday through Thursday with a day contest and night contest. From 11 AM to 3 PM is the day contest. From 5 PM to 9 PM is the night contest. On Monday, the Snowman Building Contest was the day contest. The night contest was the Snowmobile Design Contest. On Tuesday, the day contest was the Skiing Race. The Winter Cook-Off was the night contest. On Wednesday, the Snowball Fight was the day contest. The night contest was the Winter Treasure Hunt. On Thursday, the day contest was the Sledding Race. The night contest was the Igloo Building Contest. Finally, on Friday, the Champion Tournament has four one-hour rounds. They all start at 11 AM, 2 PM, 5 PM, and 8 PM.
Every animal that signed up for the contests were hyped up for them as the humans were glad to see the animals run for the contests. While they waited, they played the carnival games, rode the rides, and did some other activities like ice skating.
