omg, I never know what the current date is lmao so that got me so excited until I realized it's 2 weeks yet (rip). Ill get my boyfriend to help me pick our town map (,,:: and then meet the starting villagers and decide where to put my tent and then just go hog-wild on the item collecting lmao

I'm playing at 9pm so after a long day I'm going to light my favorite incense, start New Horizons up and cry.

Restarting isn't on the table. So I'll pick one of the 4 maps I feel i can work with the most and pray I get a fruit in my top 3. This is so "its not that deep" but AC for me is rolling with the way of things.
I wish I could restart sometimes but I just finesse it and make it something that serves my purpose. That way I resonate and connect with my Island and grow to love it more than if I just manipulated it to love it from the start.

ps; i have no issue with people who restart or dupe or hack their towns there are plenty of games where i do that, just ac is hyper sentimental to me

That's exactly how I feel too :0 I think when I start messing with the game it just loses its sentiment lol and I feel more like god rather than another villager.

1. Gonna do some resetting! I only have some small desires so I shouldn't be resetting too much and it's possible I won't have to at all. But I wanna get a couple things (not oranges/pears, there are a couple maps I just hate and I MIGHT possibly reset for airport color if I'm feeling ballsy)
2. Dig **** up!!!
3. Fish **** up!!!
4. Catch **** up!!!
5. Me and my bf are playing this game together so constantly be like "ohmygod look at x! did you see y? check out my z!"

1. reset until i get my desired map
2. collect all materials and make all the tools i can
3. dig up all the daily buried items and take things to Blathers if i can from the start; rebury pitfall seed in a more secluded location
4. pick up all the flowers on my island and place them near my house, then set them up for hybrid breeding and water
5. go around catching bugs and fish to get a feel for my island and to get things for the museum/to sell for bells

you said only 5 things so those will be my definite first 5 things, but i still have more plans after that
6. start making a plan for my island (where buildings will be, where the path will be, what to landscape and terraform, etc.)
7. make enough bells to buy out everything in resident services that resets daily (flowers, trees, medicine, and furniture)
8. talk to my villagers and maybe scan in an amiibo if i can
