This is a lesson. Never be too eager to sell a popular villager. You easily could've sold him for way more than 1 mil. If you're selling him to be nice and for non profit, then you might as well give him away free. 1 mil is basically free

I think those were just things he wanted, he wasn't necessarily expecting one person to offer every specific thing he listed. Also, bells was the last thing he lasted so I doubt he cares much for them. I can't tell if you were interested in buying Stitches or are just very passionate about certain villagers being sold for so low.

No, what I wanted was the princess set for my set and to continue cycling asap before I give this copy of AC:NL to my friend. I would've preferred my time. And Superior is right, I'm not in desperate need for bells. Just giving Stitches to a good home to make someone happy while making my sister happy with a princess set. It's win-win, I don't see how it's a loss.
