What kind of items would you like to see in an official forum store with the forum's currency?

Edit:
Little buttons (like 25x25 avatars) that you could collect. Then you could release limited edition versions of them on certain days.

I don't understand how that exactly goes along with my idea of being able to have your own section.

Say, for example, you've decided to make your own Clan for Animal Crossing. Let's say I make a guild called 'The Guardians', then by being able to have your own section (with a password or w/e) then you could do all kinds of stuff. Have discussions, plan things, etc...

However, that could really be just solved by having your own forum

And how will you be able to form a 'Joinable Group'?

Well, you'd first have to buy the item that lets you create one, and then you'll receive a PM, saying you have the item. You'll then have to forward the PM to either myself or Storm, and then we'll ask you for details, such as name of the joinable group, whether you want a board or not, and all the other details.

At least that's how I'd assume it'll work. If Storm has something better in mind we'll probably end up using his idea.

Sounds like a pretty good idea. Now, back-tracking to the whole section idea.

This would help save up a lot of 'competition' when it comes to forums because everything could be here. The only problem is that things aren't really as flexible as you'd want them.

Any who, on with what I had in mind.

Since you can have your own section, if you've purchased and gone through the process of setting up a whole 'Joinable Group' thing, will you be able to have certain extras? For example, will you be able to make your actual very own group/rank with colors and what not? Or is that something reserved just for the administrator's discretion?

Another idea, will you be able to purchase 'child' boards for your section as to attempt to better organize your section in the event of your group becoming popular with a lot of threads/topics? I mean, I'm pretty sure you'll be giving the group owner moderating privileges over his/her own section, correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm only asking these type of questions because this is something I wanted to pull off individually, but it seems like it's not really the best idea to go with if you're doing it alone I felt like I really should have partnered with someone so I could be sent commands and then make the sections and what not for them xD

Any who, get back to me with the answers to my 4th and 5th paragraph. Also, would love to hear what you have to say about the 2nd paragraph.

Generally speaking, this is where the limited edition avatars would really come in handy or something. But your idea of badges is also pretty acceptable.

Heh, you've been thinking about this.

As of right now, anything can change, so I'm not sure how exactly it's going to work. I do know that extras will be sold, but I'm not sure in what way. For example, when we originally sold board with InvisionFree, with the old forum currency, everything had to be done manually. So if something was sold, then it'd be easy to calculate. As for the actual built in store, you'd most likely have to purchase more than one item for the extras.

There is a chance that you could get your own group color, as we'd already have to make a new forum permission for your board. However if this were to happen, it'd be after the new universal ranks launch. (It's on the top of our list right now.)

I don't know if we'll do child boards to sell, but if you would need them, there'd have to be a pretty good reason.

For the moderator thing, the problem is that if we give someone mod powers it shows up on the staff list page on the bottom, so unless there's a way around that (which I'm sure there is with the right amount of Java script) we'd do everything manually. However, that can always change.

Well the mod powers would only be for the board of their joinable group, not the entire forum.
