Actually, members can sell their own products as well as forum created items.Mickey said:Special Ranks with awesome colors. The ability to make your own section or something. Extras for your section =P
I don't understand how that exactly goes along with my idea of being able to have your own section.OddCrazyMe said:Actually, members can sell their own products as well as forum created items.Mickey said:Special Ranks with awesome colors. So you could technically sell signatures in there, but I believe that a thread would be more efficient for that.
OH, I thought you meant section in the store.Mickey said:I don't understand how that exactly goes along with my idea of being able to have your own section.OddCrazyMe said:Actually, members can sell their own products as well as forum created items.Mickey said:Special Ranks with awesome colors. Say, for example, you've decided to make your own Clan for Animal Crossing. Let's say I make a guild called 'The Guardians', then by being able to have your own section (with a password or w/e) then you could do all kinds of stuff. Have discussions, plan things, etc...
However, that could really be just solved by having your own forum![]()
And how will you be able to form a 'Joinable Group'?OddCrazyMe said:OH, I thought you meant section in the store.Mickey said:I don't understand how that exactly goes along with my idea of being able to have your own section.OddCrazyMe said:Actually, members can sell their own products as well as forum created items.Mickey said:Special Ranks with awesome colors. Uh, yea we'll most likely be selling boards for joinable groups.
Well, you'd first have to buy the item that lets you create one, and then you'll receive a PM, saying you have the item. You'll then have to forward the PM to either myself or Storm, and then we'll ask you for details, such as name of the joinable group, whether you want a board or not, and all the other details.Mickey said:And how will you be able to form a 'Joinable Group'?OddCrazyMe said:OH, I thought you meant section in the store.Mickey said:I don't understand how that exactly goes along with my idea of being able to have your own section.OddCrazyMe said:Actually, members can sell their own products as well as forum created items.Mickey said:Special Ranks with awesome colors. Sounds like a pretty good idea. Now, back-tracking to the whole section idea.OddCrazyMe said:Well, you'd first have to buy the item that lets you create one, and then you'll receive a PM, saying you have the item. At least that's how I'd assume it'll work. If Storm has something better in mind we'll probably end up using his idea.
Alright.OddCrazyMe said:Virtual.TravisTouchdown said:What kind of items?
Real ones or virtual ones?
We're not allowed to sell real items for forum currency here.
You like copied two of my ideas from earlier on in the postTravisTouchdown said:Alright.OddCrazyMe said:Virtual.TravisTouchdown said:What kind of items?

How about limited edition avatars, signatures, and ranks?
Whoops.Mickey said:You like copied two of my ideas from earlier on in the postTravisTouchdown said:Alright.OddCrazyMe said:Virtual.TravisTouchdown said:What kind of items?

Any who, I wouldn't be able to answer those questions. Just felt like pointing out the first sentence.
Generally speaking, this is where the limited edition avatars would really come in handy or something. But your idea of badges is also pretty acceptable.fitzy said:Maybe badges which you perchase to show how rich you are!
You could display them in your sig!
Maybe =P But I have a very queer mind as I have some of the strangest ideas in the world if you really go on and think about it carefully.TravisTouchdown said:Whoops.Mickey said:You like copied two of my ideas from earlier on in the postTravisTouchdown said:Alright.OddCrazyMe said:Virtual.TravisTouchdown said:What kind of items?

Well, you know what they say, great minds think alike. ;3
Heh, you've been thinking about this.Mickey said:Sounds like a pretty good idea. This would help save up a lot of 'competition' when it comes to forums because everything could be here. The only problem is that things aren't really as flexible as you'd want them.
Any who, on with what I had in mind.
Since you can have your own section, if you've purchased and gone through the process of setting up a whole 'Joinable Group' thing, will you be able to have certain extras? For example, will you be able to make your actual very own group/rank with colors and what not? Or is that something reserved just for the administrator's discretion?
Another idea, will you be able to purchase 'child' boards for your section as to attempt to better organize your section in the event of your group becoming popular with a lot of threads/topics? I mean, I'm pretty sure you'll be giving the group owner moderating privileges over his/her own section, correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm only asking these type of questions because this is something I wanted to pull off individually, but it seems like it's not really the best idea to go with if you're doing it aloneI felt like I really should have partnered with someone so I could be sent commands and then make the sections and what not for them xD
Any who, get back to me with the answers to my 4th and 5th paragraph. Also, would love to hear what you have to say about the 2nd paragraph.
Well the mod powers would only be for the board of their joinable group, not the entire forum.TravisTouchdown said:Ooh.
I don't think giving someone Mod powers is really a good idea. =|
