Well, couldn't you still do the manual thing? For example, if someone wanted to get like a name change, or wanted a special rank, they (the member in question who wishes to purchase the extras) could 'donate' the bells to an account (most likely storm or yourself) with the privileges to make such changes on the forum and make the changes then. In addition to this, you could optionally log everything in a thread in the staff section or something like that. Being able to do things manually can be a tedious task, but can do wonders for the benefit of the forum.As of right now, anything can change, so I'm not sure how exactly it's going to work. I do know that extras will be sold, but I'm not sure in what way. For example, when we originally sold board with InvisionFree, with the old forum currency, everything had to be done manually. So if something was sold, then it'd be easy to calculate. As for the actual built in store, you'd most likely have to purchase more than one item for the extras.
What is this 'New Universal Ranks' of which you speak of? But that chance seems like a pretty good one =D People will be pleased to have their own custom built groups but will most likely be shocked at the fact that they MAY have to spend so much more Bells to do such things.There is a chance that you could get your own group color, as we'd already have to make a new forum permission for your board. However if this were to happen, it'd be after the new universal ranks launch. (It's on the top of our list right now.)
Define 'pretty good reason'. As in, more than just being able to organize your section?I don't know if we'll do child boards to sell, but if you would need them, there'd have to be a pretty good reason.
So you can't just assign the Group Owner to the forum? If I remember correctly, though I never did actually completely look into it, you could assign a member to a specific section of the forum. I don't think you need to put them into the staff group, which means their name won't display on the Team/Staff Page.For the moderator thing, the problem is that if we give someone mod powers it shows up on the staff list page on the bottom, so unless there's a way around that (which I'm sure there is with the right amount of Java script) we'd do everything manually. However, that can always change.
