Storing Villager Photos?

Hey guys! I was hoping y'all might have some ideas for me. So I restarted recently and one of my major goals / procedure is to get every villagers photo before they move off my island...... however as you might imagine I am not sure how to accomplish this without using my entire house as a gallery or storage area.

Does anyone else do this? Or seen someone who has?

I display them on my walls in one room of my house, yeah. I'm pretty sure they give a hefty boost to HHA score, which is a nice plus.

I hadnt even thought of that XD I mean i even have 4 spare characters as it is for various town buildings, an art gallery should have been obvious lol

I saw someone who used villager photos to set up a memorial to any villager who moved out- they put out a "western stone" + the pic for each villager.

BUT that's super morbid, so I can understand not wanting to do that Personally, I have side characters for storage and display purposes- everyone has villager pics that fit their personality, even though my main character is the only one who earns the pics. Otherwise my main's entire house would be full of the things, lol.

I have been putting them outside of their houses while they still live on my island. I was putting them in my formal garden before I decided to completely redo everything. And I put my favorites in my house!

Yep, the framed photos can be hung on the walls as well

You def get a HHA boost for each villager pic. Not sure of the exact amount, but I notice an uptick each week when I add a new pic or two up on the wall. You gotta display them though. Of course, for most of us, we've already long ago received the gold trophy, so now it's just about bragging rights.

PS Please find me someone who will care about my big HHA score so that I can brag to them.

What I do is sort of display them but have them hidden in plain sight. I place all my photos on the wall above and around the door when you walk into the house. If you walk in or enter/exit the rooms you can’t see them. It’s only when you walk in, turn the camera around and look up that they are there. That way it doesn’t take up storage but there’s no gallery room.

I had that originally (picture with Western stone), but it takes up a ton of space. Now I've got each picture hanging on the wall in my main room. I believe I'm up to 30 so far.

So far I have them gradually building up across the walls in my basement! it’ll probably be a while before it fills up (I think I have either 9 or 12 currently?), but if it ever does I’d probably hand them over to my spare character since he doesn’t really have anything in his storage

I do that, but only for the villagers who I didn't find someone to give them a new home

I've just been hanging them on the wall in the left room of my house. I too have the same goal where I won't let a villager move off my island until they give me their picture!

i put photos of my current villagers in front of their houses (there's extra dialouge if a villager notices their own photo outside)

and the rest i put up on my wall, i probably have around 20-30 photos at this point
(my 2 spare characters both have 1 photo each)

I've put all mine up so far on the walls in my house. It's taken a lot of the basement, and the spare room too. I also have my favorites displayed in my bedroom. My goal is to earn every single villager's picture, and I wanted to get them all showing in one house, but I don't feel like sacrificing all of my aesthetic to do that.

I use the walls of my house to display them. I put the bulk of them in my main room and a side room. I'm at around the 50ish mark with photos, so the boost in the HHA score helps too.

Like what others have said, I have other PCs for storage purposes. However, I am very picky when it comes to villager photos. I'm not really a completionist so it doesn't matter if I get all of them. There is a room in my island rep house that I use for displaying my favourite villagers on the walls. Non-favourite villager photos get stashed in storage

It’s not a problem for me yet as I only have four pics I have them on the wall in my main room. So happy to hear that they boost your HHA score, that is a nice bonus Will look forward to tomorrow to see how much it goes up by.

Same! however @MickTheMouse i dont have that many yet where i say OMG what i do with them ( im curious if i will get to this stage ❣ ) But for the moment the ones i got i displayed them inone of my characters room in the walls and made a cozy tee dripping area.The idea to just come here to drink tee while looking at your villager photos is both nostalgically cute and creepy hahahaha
