So I have a funny story about ACGC. I started today on the game like any other day, asking villagers for favors, digging up fossils, buying out Nook. Until I got a task from Rosie to deliver a Gameboy to Yuka. No big deal, I do these favors a lot. I go to her house "I'm not in right now" the door read. Okay fine, I'll have to do a bit more searching.. I couldn't find her anywhere.
Then all of a sudden I saw an igloo and entered in and guess who was in there.. the koala herself! And I couldn't ask her to deliver it and was forced to play a game where she bought my tea vase for less than 300 bells. Irritating but okay.
Then Kiki asks me to get a handkerchief over to Hank who moved recently. And the thing I worry about doing these favors is the fact that when you travel to a town over, a resident will ALWAYS move to the new town, regardless of whether or not your town or the town over's residents are full or not. So I did it and said yes to Kiki because I couldn't refuse the cute kitty herself.
I went over to my other town, looked all over for Hank. Went to his house and saw "I'm not home right now." on the door. Kept looking for him until I saw another igloo. I thought "oh no, please don't be what I think it is." Go in, and guess who was in the igloo? Would it be one of the other 14 villagers? Oh NO! Nope! It was good ole Hank! And didn't have the option to give him his handkerchief which was the only sole reason I traveled all the way to town for.
So I left on the train after finding the money rock there and talking to other villagers that were lost to this town because of favors similar to this one. I come home on the train and pray that none of my favorite villagers left and it could've been one like Yuka who left. Did it work that way? Of course not! Mitzi decided to pack her bags and move right away, and if you know me I ADORE Mitzi. She's my favorite villagers.
And to add it all up in the end, guess who was at the save screen. Yuka! It's like she was taunting me saying, "Oh you think you can give me back my GameBoy yet? TOO BAD! I need a break from Super Mario Land anyways. You'll have all the time to talk to me now that your Mitzi is gone!"
Well that was my funny story about my streak of bad luck and it was all in one day keep in mind.
Have any of you had any streak of bad luck similar to this in any of the AC games? If so, I'd like to hear about it!
