To be honest, I really hope they do come out with one, but if they don't, then that's fine too. One thing I didn't like about the guidebook they did for New Leaf, was that some of the information in the book was incorrect. If they do make one for New Horizons, hopefully they won't make the same mistake. If they do come out with one, I will likely buy it for both my mom and I to share, as we both will be playing the game.
