I had a really cool idea for a themed island and I thought some people may be interested in watching me build it from scratch. However, I won't ever have the free time to stream every day, but ACNH is a game where it's important to play every day, especially at the beginning of the main storyline. So, I'm wondering what might be the best way to do a weekly ACNH stream?
To be clear I'm not trying to promo myself or anything, this is just hypothetical and I'm not even sure if I'll do it or not. But I thought people here might have ideas/advice on how to make it work if I did. Thank you for reading (y)

i would just stream when you are ready to build / decorate / terraform something. for me personally the everyday acnh gameplay isnt as appealing to watch vs someone decorating an area. so you could stream how you build something once a week or so c:

Coming from someone who streams, I would dedicate a day or two a week to streaming Animal Crossing when you're decorating, terraforming, etc, just like Amilee said. Unless you want to have a storyline where more frequent playing or just daily life would be more important to show, only streaming certain aspects would keep you from having to stream daily.

Also, streaming daily =/= playing daily. Both are two things that take up different blocks of time & use different amounts of energy (in my experience, at least). So, if you had time, you could do smaller things that move you along the path of progression per day, and do bigger things on stream like terraforming, introducing villagers, etc.!

i don’t really watch acnh videos nowadays, nor do i stream myself, but like @/Amilee and @/michealsmells said, i would only stream when you’re doing something such as decorating your island, your home and/or a villager’s home (if you have the DLC), or terraforming since streaming your day-to-day activities might get boring for you and/or your viewers. though, it could also be neat to stream your first week or so of gameplay, since the tutorial stage is (for me, anyways lol) fun to watch, and could be cool to look back on as your island continues to come together! you could also stream any island hopping (looking for villagers) sessions you go on, since i (and lots of other people!) enjoy watching those as well.

i definitely wouldn’t recommend streaming every single day, though, especially if your streams wind up being 40+ minutes long. streaming that often could get tiring for you, and that wouldn’t be very fun. just stream when you can, what you can, and what you want. anything you have or want to show will appeal to someone. good luck! <3

Honestly I think you should stream whatever you want. It’s your gameplay and you could do whatever. If anything I’d watch it.

I’d recommend getting to a point with your island where you have all the tools/resources/plans available. Outline your theme, story, and aesthetic ahead of time so people can watch the fun stuff.

Terraforming, decorating, dream exploring, and villager hunting are normally the hottest forms of ACNH content. There are people who enjoy regular gameplay, but that would require some great branding and a drive to entertain!

And streaming weekly is a good idea. Not to mention healthy. Daily streaming sounds like a nightmare (aka turning a hobby into a “job”)!

A lot of the ACNH streamers I watch often usually stream while terraforming and decorating their island. Although I don’t think that you’d necessarily have to restrict yourself to a certain type of theme. Say if you were streaming one day but just decided to walk around, visit villagers, and do daily tasks, that would be fine. And another day could be steaming while you’re terraforming. Most people watching probably already know the different types of things they’ll see while watching since AC is so distinct.
