Streetpass

So i notice that i pass quite a few people where i live in several games via StreetPass.
The most common game i pass people on would have to be Pokemon Rumble and ACNL.

Ive also passed a few people on Pokemon Shuffle, Fantasy Life, Alpha Sapphire (dont even know how to check that one, ill just see the green dot).

Surprisingly, ive passed a lot of people on New Leaf! Even in places Id least expect! Thats why i like to have my DS with me most of the time. I live in the northern suburbs of Dallas, Texas so there can be a lot of people! Everytime i go to DownTown Dallas, i always pass someone!

My StreetPass count has diminished lately since there hasn't been many big name games that hit wide appeal for people, so I've been carrying my 3DS around less and less. Usually when I get a StreetPass it's at work because some kids brought theirs in to play while their parents shop.

I always get excired when i see that i passed someone! A couple weeks ago i was at Winstar Casino and i passed ny someone who played all 4 of the games i listed! If only i could have met them....

I rarely get an actual streetpass from walking past somebody, if I do its usually at the grocery store where like Tom said people's kids have a DS on hand. If I want streetpasses then i go to Home Depot or one of the other street pass relay stations that have stored streetpass data (although, its been a while since I've done it, so I'm not even sure if my local Home Depot or McDonalds still have the relays set up)

There's a relay at the shopping mall nearby, so I can just go grocery shopping and pick up 10 tags for the Mii Plaza, along with some tags for the games I have listed.
When I don't pass it and instead take my 3DS when I go into the city, I'm lucky if I even get one tag.

so where in the mall do you have a streetpass relay? is it a particular store? the only places i ever found them in my town were at McDonald's, and at Home Depot. and there was a Hilton hotel where I'd also get streetpasses, i think it was also from a relay

Just decided to look where exactly it's located. Apparently the mall has 4 relays, even though the mall isn't that big. There's a general one at one of the entrances, one in a bakery, one in a phone store, and one by the restaurant area. My 3DS probably picks up stuff from the general or restaurant relay whenever I go.

This is in Europe though, so I'm not sure how useful that information is to you.

You must be lucky then. I usually don't get hits unless I wait around at GameStop or go to crowded malls with tourists lol. Or game events/cons...

But yeah been lucky lately with random SP hits when in town and such so ya I'm glad.

Also idek if our nintendo zones crap work here anymore cause I've been to those places but I don't get crap so eh

A couple days ago I went to 2 malls and passed someone at both! I counted how many houses I have in my HH showcase (since I think those are the houses of people you pass) and I have almost 20!

yeah most people i've seen plays those pokemon games, got a few from new leaf but their homes p much sucked either they were all refurbished or had play coins or plain junk homes lel.

i get quite a lot of streatpasses just from walking around the shopping area of a city ^^ ive had over 100 hits in like a year? and i go out there maybe once a month haha

i haven't streetpassed anyone in a while, because i stopped bringing my 3ds to school a while ago. and even if i did bring it in, i only get one or two streetpasses from it, and they're the same people everytime so there isn't much of a point to bringing it in to streetpass people.

I haven't been able to StreetPass anyone ever since moving to Oklahoma back in December 2015 - except on just one of many times I went to GameStop in the past few months.

I streetpass a lot of people in university it seems. Which surprises me actually to see a few in university with a 3ds. Even so, I don't really do much with my 3ds in university. My streetpasses just lay around there until I get home or wait until i am free one day and actually be able to check it. However, although the nintendo zone app is discontinue, the whole idea of streetpassing people via nintendo zone on streetpass weekend still works from what I can understand.

When you check the touchscreen, there is an app that tells you about the events that occurred like the news of the pokemon region. Something like "A suspicious rainy weather has appeared in route 201". I forgot the name of the AP, but click that, and tap what looks like a message sign. It will give you the bases of people you streetpass and news on what they have done in their pok?mon games.

I've got tags at Walmart and the shopping mall. Found out most of those tags were from employees that carry their 3DS while they work. Also got tag at Target when it was in Canada.
