sugar and flour

I tried to post this in the FAQ thread but I guess my post got lost. How do you get sugar and flour? I've got wheat and sugarcane on my island but I can't figure out how to turn them into ingredients. Are they a separate DIY recipe or something?

There are recipe packs you get from nook miles and from nooks cranny. Flour and sugar diys should be in one of them.
