Villager trades seem to be one of the most popular things in AC now that more people are getting settled into their games. I've noticed the villager threads we have stickied are growing incredibly fast and it's very difficult to find where posts were and what not. Would it be a bad idea to have a subsection in re-tail perhaps or just in animal crossing in general dedicated to villager trading?

Maybe it's unnecessary just an idea that crossed my mind after seeing the thread hit 1,000 pages and grow over 50 pages in less than a day.

That sounds awesome.
I've seen a few people that set up villager auctions in retail, anyways.

yeah i've done that for a more popular villager i had that was moving out. Idk maybe this really is unnecessary

I think the current village trade threads should be deleted and remade with rules. I see people posting on every single page saying, look at my sig. The threads should simply be for, this villager is moving on this day, then trades could be sorted via PMs rather than spamming the thread with pointless posts, I have put villagers on there when they were packed, and my post just got spammed away.

I agree that some change would help -- a whole forum, preferably, with some stricter rules. I find those threads impossible to wade through.

Isn't the group basically a subsection? Anyone can join it.
Groups are OK but newcomers are the ones who are the main makers of these threads. (I mean the ones who joined late July to right now.) They don't really know how to even access a group. I don't mean offense to anyone who already knows.

I would like a subsection. The sticky is hard to browse around and ALL the threads are just plain too much.

So a subsection where you post there villagers name if (s)he's moving out? I would be for that. But there aren't really any subsections on this forum, they may want to stay away from it since it might make things more complex.

Actually there are subsections
In Able Sisters, there's a subsection for From Other Sites.
In General AC Discussion, there's two of them.
In Animal Crossing City Folk, there's two of them.
In Gamer's Lounge, there are FOUR.
So all in all, there really are 8 subsections, not "not really any on this forum." :)

Excuse me, there aren't any really any subsections on the boards people actually care about. *

You can't admit it's the most, or even active, boards on this site.

re-tail used to be a subsection but after its frequent use it was bumped up to an actual section. Does it really matter the argument of semantics? I just thought a board where we can post about villagers would be easier than combing two threads. And the group is nice but it's also not very easy to navigate.

You don't have to be rude about this site. All of it is used, just because you don't use something doesn't mean people don't 'actually care about'

This was just a suggestion.

Didn't mean to come out as rude. Forgive me?
