I think a cool new addition for the Roost would be the ability to order both coffee and tea. I can't think of a single coffee shop out in the real world that doesn't also serve tea drinks too. The ones that do only serve coffee, if there are still any, severely under pace their competition in my mind because not only is tea a fine drink for all times while coffee is really only good for the morning and busy nights but this also attracts customers who prefer tea over coffee. Tea and coffee are also similar one in the fact that all the add ins that can be put into coffee also makes a fine addition to tea. Two, the cups are really similar too, so all Nintendo would have to do is change the label of the cup that Brewster pours the drink into to signify whether it is coffee or tea. This could also make for a cool and unique twist on the minigame that you do while working for Brewster by having villagers that like tea and villagers that prefer coffee (the drop down table that has the different coffee types can also include a few different teas as well or if this is too difficult for players, the table could be simply show coffees for the "coffee" villagers and teas for the "tea" villagers; the sugar and milk table can remain the same no matter the drink since these work for both coffee and tea).

I think itโ€™s a great idea. I would love for him to sell more then just coffee. It could be like a real cafe. Tea is a great suggestion. It would be great if he sold other things as well. Hot chocolate would be another drink he could sell. Probably not going to happen but it would be nice if he could also sell the donuts and sandwiches the villagers walk around with.

Don't forget water for the hydro homies

I think it'd be great if he served little snacks too, like the sandwiches that villagers can be seen carrying
To piggy back off of this... buying food and drink items that our villagers are constantly walking around with, as items that WE CAN CARRY TOO!!! Make them consumable, like each item you can eat/drink from x number of times.

iโ€™m not really a coffee or a tea person irl, but i think this is a great idea! iโ€™d love for him to serve tea, as well as the treats mentioned above, and maybe even some other drinks!

also, this is slightly off-topic since it doesnโ€™t really regard the roostโ€™s menu, but i really hope that the part-time job minigame from new leaf is coming back as well! i loved it so much, and i think itโ€™d be even cooler now if there were a few more things that the villagers/npcs could order! itโ€™d be nice to see which characters prefer coffee, and which ones prefer tea. :โ€™)

Maybe there could even be a progression based system kind of like Pokรฉmon Cafรฉ Mix. Instead of the player having all the drink and/or food options unlocked right away, Brewster could start with just serving coffee and allow the player to unlock these other options by being successful in the part-time job minigame for a certain number of days (the same way they would receive his special furniture and other items). This would also allow Nintendo the opportunity to slowly introduce new drinks and foods to the cafรฉ as and if they see fit while also making the cafรฉ feel more special if Nintendo were to go down this new route.

There could even be a food/drink item perhaps that's inspired by Pokรฉmon Cafรฉ Mix that could serve as advertisement for this other Nintendo game which takes place inside of a cafรฉ environment.

Having to unlock the different food and drinks is a great idea. One of the things I loved about NL was how much you could unlock if you played long enough. I think NH needs more of that.

I don't like tea too much but the idea is interesting! I think he should sell pigeon milk too, I would buy milk and coffee every day ๐Ÿ˜„

I have to many expectations for brewster to put it word ๐Ÿ˜… but let me try:

-be able to part time either as a barista or as a pastry helper
-different drinks depending on season ( like having a spice pumpkin latte during winter or a fresh lemonade in summer)
-improvement of quality life
-rewards based on part-time progression
-maybe if more harvest are introduce, quality of food based on ingredients ( mushrooms, pumpkins etc, maybe one day lifestock and we can add milk? Sorry to much wishfulthinking ๐Ÿ˜…)
-gyroid museum
-life music performance or some tipe of performance activity every once is a while ( 1 a week )
-my espreso machine that i have in my living room producing coffee or maybe be able to get one workable machine from Brewster at some point and maybe the kitchen to be able to cook ... maybe !

and many more some are too much asking for because we will def not get it in this series but o well i Girl can dream

Here's a suggestion: Not only do you get served drinks and food...but you are the one that supplies Brewster the ingredients for the food and once you bring him the right ingredients he gives you a food DIY. What a great way to introduce the other vegetables that were coded in the game and never used! For example the DIY for Carrot Cake would consist of carrots and sugar cane. Once the DIY is made you get to serve it to a visiting villager in the Roost.

love the idea except for the DIY i mean i would not mind getting a DIY for food items but them please at some point abilitate the kitchen furniture we have and we can actually cook it like with mini games in game time or real life time like Eg: you put ingredients to mix in mixer 5real time mins and then an animation on how you make it and then oven 30 mins real time and then animation on how to cutely decorate it or just a mini game dunno. It would be super sad to use the working bench to fabricate a cake ๐ŸŽ‚ hahaha at least for me but the idea i love it ! And nooks can sell some items every now and then or a new merchant can come to town every two weeks selling different condiments

just an idea ๐Ÿ’ก ๐Ÿ˜…

Out of all of these suggestions, I can see a gyroid museum or at least gyroids in general as the most likely to get introduced alongside the Roost, especially with all of the Brewstoids that Brewster is associated with and it seems like gyroids would be the easiest to incorporate since they are nothing new. One other thing to note is I think it would be great if K.K. Slider could perform in the Roost once again. It feels like a crime for K.K. to have to perform outside on just a chair, especially when he was given his own stage in New Leaf. Although, I do understand the allure of an outside concert, so to build on the performance suggestion: maybe instead of sticking K.K. inside the Roost every week, it could cycle between K.K.'s concert, Dr. Shrunk giving a stand-up comedy routine, and possibly other kinds of talent/activity nights led by other npcs and/or villager characters.

Personally I dont care at all.
Either way it's just sitting down and drinking something.
Perhaps if they gave different benefits depending on what you drank it would be cool.
But as it stands, all we have is energy to dig up trees so I'm not sure what effects the drinks could have.

But if they don't do something different depending on what you order, then really it's just sitting down and taking a sip of something.
So what the something is doesn't bother me what so ever
