it was raining again on sunnytop today, so ive been enjoying some fishing. im still working on getting that 100 fish catches in a row achievement haha

the storm got a lot more severe, but i thought the sky looked pretty cool

there was a camper on the island today! gruff the goat. he seemed nice

poor kk was singing all alone in the pouring rain. i wish i could give him an umbrella or something

i havent updated my island journal in a while so i have a lot of pictures to share. heres some of early april during cherry blossom season

since it was cherry blossom season i wanted to wear something pink. cherry blossom season doesnt last very long so i wasnt motivated to swap my trees out for saplings again, but maybe i will next year.

im glad that all the bugs are back again. its nice to switch up my fish and bug catching while i walk around and the butterflies are pretty. its almost sad to catch them

i discovered that the mages hood when combined with the sweatshirt looks like a cozy hoodie so i enjoyed that look for a while

im so happy the newsprint helmet is back i love wearing it and it makes me want to wear fun outfits more often. also the carp banner is gorgeous and i didnt realize how much i missed it until it returned ;-; i didnt know where i was going to place it but i found a nice empty spot by the ocean and i think it really completes the area

i always enjoy when its raining on sunnytop, but tangy was very unhappy about it (she looks so cute in her raincoat though). nan decided she wanted to call me muffin. i started the game telling my villagers to call me p-chan but lately ive been having fun letting them decide different names for me. i found wisp at the little graveyard island so that was nice :3 i love it when he appears there

i found tasha sleeping in the woods on the way to ables. she looked really cute so i went to take a picture of her but she suddenly woke up surprised by something. it made me laugh

this week marshal let me know that he doesnt play by the rules. what a little rebel. ursula was sick :c i brought her some medicine though (the medicine in this game is so powerful). i also caught a bug in front of flick, but he wasnt impressed at all

went mystery island hopping today to get the wasp catching achievement (i did it woo!) i dressed up as a pirate captain for fun i also managed to get the wood chopping achievement while adventuring so that was nice c:

thats all for the updates! ive been thinking that sunnytop doesnt have enough trees, so next im going to be planting some more around to give myself that deep in the woods feeling im craving. hoping that it wont become too hard to navigate or see through though. hopefully ill have some more pictures to post soon and that i wont put off updating for another month bc this took a while

i ended up planting a lot more trees so now sunnytop is much more forest-like it took a while to get them arranged how i like since i wanted them to look thick but not be too hard to navigate. my dream address is 5368 8367 8653 if anyone wants to get lost in the woods. theres not too many decorated areas but i think most of the appeal is the natural beauty when just walking around. heres photos of most of the decorated areas, but there are some more seating areas and random nature diy items scattered throughout. not much of my island has changed in a while tbh haha theres just a lot more trees now.

too many attachments for a single post so heres another haha i experienced a weird glitch where gullivarr spawned in the grass instead of on the beach! he ended up walking right and down all the way across town until he eventually made it to the beach. too bad he didnt realize the closest one was just to the left of where he started.

it was a beautiful cloudy and breezy day on sunnytop today. who needs shoes? its now july, and all of the bugs make the forest feel more alive. maybe ill be able to finish up that bug catching achievement this season; although i think i need over a thousand more.. either way its fun to have more around c: updated my dream address again for the nice weather

sunnytop hasnt seen any new development (and probably wont unless major game updates happen) but here are some recent screenshots. going to have to break this up into 2 posts due to the attachment limit.

my island doesnt have a lot of fully decorated areas like many others, but i have put a lot of care into how i terraform so that the landscape feels natural but also interesting. when i first unlocked terraforming, i went a little overboard on waterfalls tbh. i even had a whole section of my island (now turnips farm area) dedicated to waterfalls. the sound effects were a little overwhelming so i have cut back a lot. however, the waterfalls around the island are some of my favorite features of sunnytop and i decided to take a bunch of pictures to show off all of them c: some of them have a couple angles so ill break them up into separate spoiler tags

havent updated my island journal since the 2.0 update so here you go! to be honest, i dont think ive changed much of anything on my island. although i did swap out rudy for sasha so thats probably the biggest thing :3 sasha is so cute, i think he has become my favorite villager of all time. i dont think ive even changed my house at all, since i havent been focusing on collecting the new furniture items although im sure my house will get tweaked a bit as i collect more. i havent been playing as much lately, so im getting new things really slowly. one of the bigger things im looking forward to is to finally replace my rock climbing wall in the bathroom (for privacy of course) with a new partition, but ill need to put a lot more time into happy home paradise before i unlock that haha. i think im only at three houses decorated so far other than adding sasha, the other changes ive made have been to add a few vines to the cliffsides and planting the new crops in my farm area. i think they look so good! also im thrilled to finally have a field of wheat instead of a field of yellow hyacinths ^u^ im also really enjoying the new cooking diys although i havent done anything with them yet besides pile them up in storage haha a little gross, but they wont go bad thankfully c: alright, thats pretty much all i have to update so heres a dump of some recent photos. ill probably have to make a second post to include all of the photos, but we shall see.

here are my new crop areas! this is also the outfit ive been wearing since my island has seemed colder. i thought i should swap out the oversized tee and socks for an oversized hoodie and warm leggings c: cant have my rep getting too cold
