Personally, I'd have to go with sunrise. It's kinda like a reward for getting up early!! Also, the smells in the morning, you know what I'm talking about. It's also usually nice and cool, nobody is really awake (in my neighborhood, at least), and it's nice to walk my dogs for a good energy boost. How about you?

They're both equally beautiful. For sunrises, deep blue skies are something great to look at. Sunsets give off yellow-orange skies and it's really fitting if you played bossa nova music in my opinion. But I can totally agree that sunrises are more rewarding if you get up early. From where I live, it varies depending on the time of the year. I can easily catch sunrises when it's winter but more challenging in the summer.

Sunrises, for the same reasons you mentioned. I’m not a morning person, so it makes it difficult to see them too.

I don't get up early to watch the sunrise, I just stay up all night and go to sleep in the morning. (I'm practically a vampire.)

I absolutely love both, sunrises because it helps calm me after a stressful night and sunsets give me a lot of inspiration to get my work done/write a story.

Sunrises. I much prefer the new beginning vibes they give off to the vibes of closure that sunsets give me.

Sunrises are wonderful. Sleepless nights are worth it when I get to see the sky wake up. Of course it's even better when I can wake up right before the sun rises so I can see it happen without being dead tired.

Sunsets are really beautiful, and they're the transition to night which I generally prefer because it's calmer.

Sunsets, I'm never awake early enough to see the sunrise in summer then I'm already at work to see it in winter.

I love watching the sunset at our static caravan on the coast then waiting for the moon to rise, love their reflections on the sea.

While both are nice in their own ways, I prefer sunsets. I'm more of a night owl when circumstances permit, and the colors can be quite beautiful sometimes. My favorite season is Autumn and that includes the fact that the sun starts going down earlier and earlier each day until the Winter Solstice, the shortest day of the year. The more night, the better for me, so sunsets naturally coincide with that.

Sunrises are underrated, most people dont see them too often. I love them, especially in the winter.

Sunrises!! Everything is quiet and fresh + breakfast. They're especially nice in the summer and early fall.

sunset for me. they're beautiful and romantic. i once went to disneyhsea at tokyo and there was this gondola ride. i went on it when the sun was setting and dammnn...i wanna go again.
