Super Bowl LII will be played this Sunday in Minneapolis, Minnesota, between the defending champion New England Patriots, and the Philadelphia Eagles.

I'm not a fan of either team playing. I am pretty tired of the Patriots, but the Eagles fans are so obnoxious that i'll probably be slightly pulling for New England to win.

I haven't decided yet if I will go out for the game or watch at home.

I'm probably looking forward to being entertained by the commercials more so than by the game; also, I'm a bit surprised Justin Timberlake is the halftime act, he seems to me to have been out of the limelight for a while here...

what about you guys?

--do you plan to watch? is so, at home, or will you go to a party?

--who will you be rooting for, and who do you think will win?

--do you watch for the game, or just for the commercials?

--what kind of halftime show do you think Justin Timberlake will put on?

:confused::confused::confused:

Justin Timberlake should have declined out of respect for Janet Jackson, and what he put her through.

If he doesn't invite her back to perform with him, I will lose the last bit of respect I had for him.

hate both teams, but i find the patriots to be the lesser of two evils so i hope they win (i HATE the eagles.)

I always thought the whole thing from that halftime show was orchestrated, have they ever said otherwise??

Vegas bookmakers are actually giving odds and y u can place a bet on whether or not there will be a "wardrobe malfunction" during the halftime show this year...

"you" can place a bet...

Justin refused to comment on it and has ever since, but implied when it first happened that it was deliberate.

Janet was forced to record herself apologising, even though it was fully Justin's fault for the malfunction in the first place. Justin had no repercussions, whereas Janet has not had a stable career ever since. Justin never admitted to this or supported her when she was facing these consequences.

He is undeserving of the opportunity, IMO.

oh i meant, it wasnt really a "malfunction." that was a euphemism. it was a planned bit of show, as evidenced by the elaborate nipplewear that Janice was wearing. she and her producers just never expected the negative reaction to be so vocal. it's a shame people got so worked up about it.

here's a link to story this week about it:

Actually, only part of her outfit was meant to be removed. The problem was that, in the process, Justin tore the whole thing off. She explains the stunt in the apology video, if I remember correctly.

never watched the superbowl, doubt i ever will
not rooting for anyone lol
i sometimes watch the commercials the week after
justin timberlake likes being a bit overtly sexual so i imagine something a bit rape-y as per

My foster family does a big party for the superbowl but I never attend, only during halftime. I might come early for the food though but I would leave.

I'm one of those people who pick a random team so they don't feel as embarrassed around people who talk football.

Eagles are my favourite team so I'm definitely rooting for them, plus I've seen the Patriots win twice already and I was never a fan of them to begin with. I'm pretty sure the Patriots are going to win, though.

I'm from Philly, family are huge Eagles fans!

I was at the last game when we got into the Super Bowl and I'm proud to be an obnoxious fan !! Driving through the city post game was unbelievably exciting.
No one likes us but we don't care, and we're gonna win the Super Bowl

I'm from South Jersey. It's almost a sin to not be rooting for the Eagles here. I really don't care for football or any sport for that matter though. I'm just glad my family buys a lot of food for that night.

--do you plan to watch? is so, at home, or will you go to a party? Nope, won't watch

--who will you be rooting for, and who do you think will win? I don't even know who is playing.

--do you watch for the game, or just for the commercials? I will watch the commercials after it airs, probably on youtube.

--what kind of halftime show do you think Justin Timberlake will put on? Did not even know he was the halftime show. Won't watch, don't care.

can you tell I don't watch football. lol

I live about an hour or so from Gillette Stadium, so smack dab in the heart of Patriots Nation here.

To be honest, I'm not a big fan of football, nor do I really care for how Justin Timberlake has evolved, so if I miss, I won't be heartbroken. I might put it on, in the background, while I read or knit, or I might see if there's a good movie or even Puppy Bowl to watch instead. Pretty sure Brady and the boys will be bringing home the trophy, though.

i hate football and i hate having to hear about it for weeks leading up to & weeks after

I have a question for patriots/eagles fans: how did the patriots or Eagles become your favorite team? because I never understood how people have favorite sports teams lol. is it because they're from your home state or you like the players on the team?

not trying to be rude in anyway I'm just genuinely curious

im hoping one of the other teams cashes in their money in the bank contract at the end of the game cos i dont really like either team.

i could probably deal with a patriots win more than an eagles win, though.
