I'm a southerner who only likes unsweetened tea. I'm basically a barbarian out to destroy civilization.

It depends! I love fruity and floral teas which I never sweeten. Black teas, breakfast teas, I usually sweeten with agave or honey :)

plain tea, freshly brewed

the only tea i ever sweeten is black tea and i use honey for that

I have never even tried sweet tea. I consume enough sweet stuff already, so plain, unsweetened tea for me.

i guess it depends on how sweet the tea is?? I voted sweet tea bc I don't like unsweetened tea (like the complimentary tea they serve in our local Japanese/Chinese restaurants I believe), but I have tasted really sweet tea that just doesn't jive with my taste buds. I'm more of a little sweet tea, and I especially like putting milk in my tea lmao.

(I can tolerate unsweetened tea though, bc my boyfriend likes unsweetened tea and whenever we go on a date he always asks for the complimentary tea. I'm too shy to decline his offer so I just kinda,, suck it up.)

I usually drink unsweetened tea at home & when I go out for dim sum and stuff. I’m not sure what sweetened tea is, but I like the AriZona drink. Absolutely hate other flavoured sweet teas though like peppermint tea, almost everything at stores like David’s Tea

I personally don't add sugar to my tea, and I normally drink things like herbal, black, or green tea, so I'll say unsweetened. I'm okay with either, though.

I enjoy tea sweet or unsweetened, but a touch of sugar or of honey is usually my preference! Black tea, in particular, is best with some sweetness to temper its strength, in my opinion.

For iced tea, I definitely prefer sweet. The place I work now uses an entire bag of sugar (6 or 7 cups I believe) in their in house tea. For hot tea it kind of depends, but usually I prefer it without sugar. I like a spoonful or two in green tea.

I really like hot tea with a little bit of honey! That said, I really don't like how the US does their iced tea. In Canada when you order an iced tea it means Nestea or Brisk brand sweet iced tea, but in the states it's literally straight up tea with ice in it and I am not a fan (at least in the places I've visited)!

Hard choice. I like both options, but my ultimate pick will be sweet tea because of flavor. :)
