Switching between Lighthouse and Windmill

Well, it's been confirmed that you can switch between the lighthouse and the windmill, there's just one catch. You have to donate 1,000,000 bells XD

After you donate 1mil bells this happens:

Not sure if you can change back after it's been changed though.

Hmm its like being able to downgrade from Nookingtons... I accidentally did that and had to wait tell Nook said something about changing again and I said "Variety" to get my Nookingtons back. I am guessing this will be the case with the lighthouse/windmill thing.

I really like this.

It gives towns a more "personal touch" maybe someone doesn't want the biggest Nook's and wants Nook-N-Go since it's open the longest.

my best guess is that they'd keep asking you to switch, though hopefully not to the point that it would get annoying if you were truly a frequent and plentiful donor.

There is no difference.

Anyway i'm assuming every time you donate another 500,000 bells they put a vote for it to change. Not sure if this would be true though.

I believe that Tortimer thing is back.

One day or another Tortimer will ask you a favor. He is going to leave for a week, and he asks that every night of that week you go inside the lighthouse and turn the switch to ON.

Do that, and he'll give you something nice.
