Does anybody take naps?

I try to avoid it. Although at one specific point in college I was taking all my classes very early in the morning + a commute.

So I was crashing out in the afternoon pretty hard.

i love taking naps! used to do them daily in the afternoons but have been avoiding them as of late to "fix my sleep schedule" (which has gotten worse as we speak).

might actually take one today because of how early i woke up lol

I used to not be able to take naps much at all in the past, because I've dealt with insomnia for most of my life and I couldn't just fall asleep even if I felt like I needed it. very rarely I would actually be able to fall asleep for a bit during the day.

but in the last month or so I've actually been able to fall asleep without taking any kind of med/supplement, so I've been taking naps somewhat more frequently. it feels nice because I'm just a generally sleepy person hehe. ☺️

i love taking naps, especially in winter, just nice to be able to get cosy and have a rest when it’s very cold out.

i often get up quite early for work which is nice cause then i usually get the afternoon free but does leave me pretty tired so generally take a nap sometime in the afternoon - definitely got better over time though at not over-napping or else i just wake up groggy and struggle to sleep at night.

I've ME/CFS and have always napped a lot. If I'm tired and it's appropriate (e.g. I'm not at work) I will take a nap or get an early night. Monday I went to bed at 7:30pm and slept until the alarm went off at 6:45am.

I don't particularly like it but if a nap in the late morning or early afternoon means I can function better and enjoy the rest of the day I'll take it!

I love taking naps, but taking naps does not always love me, haha. I'm usually really groggy after them, but most of the time it's worth it. I hated it as a kid but as an adult I appreciate the opportunity for more sleep very much.

i have to take naps from time to time, i get horrible thyroid crashes around 3-4pm and if i don't nap, i turn into a massive cranky jerk who can't focus on anything. then i end up going to sleep early and sleeping for like, 12 hours, which makes me crankier bc its not good quality sleep & its too much sleep.

i have napping down to a science. a routine. i get more comfy for a nap than i do for bed. and sometimes i wake up feeling better from a nap than regular sleep.

talking about naps makes me wanna take one LOOOOL

I hate naps and I have since I was a baby. Whenever I wake up from one I feel like I wasted a good part of my day that could've been spent on a hobby or physical activity. I only really take them if I'm too sleepy to stay awake and/or I'm sick. Otherwise, when I'm sleep deprived I just force myself to stay awake until it's my normal time to fall asleep.

I used to nap almost every day while I was in university and my sleep schedule was pretty rough, but ever since then I don't nap if I can help it. I honestly struggle to get going and do anything after napping, so my entire day will get thrown off if I do nap.

Due to waking up early for work, but also being a night owl, I sometimes have like an hour or two sleep in the day after my shift. It has helped sometimes, and probably does since I don't sleep much.

I really shouldve done this when I worked at the other place too, since I woke up even earlier for that one. Though due to a mess of a rota, it didn't really plan out as well.
