Tamagotchi Talk!

I got my 3 kids all the English Tamagotchi Ons, and I myself have a Tamagotchi Meets Sweets (limited edition white) that my husband got me for Valentine's Day.

OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE IM JUST SEEING THIS I LOVE TAMAGOTCHI!!!! i don't have many but i am really into those little guys... i own a connection v4, sanrio meets, and magic on!!! i actuly have a sort of funny sort of sad about how i got the v4.....

it was really lucky, it was when i was little and we were moving into a new house. apparently the kid who used to live there forgot their tama on the floor and my parents just gave it to me when they found it since they had no way of contacting the family that used to live there. i still remember the tama left on it before i restarted it was gozarutchi..... poor little guy i gotta thank the kid who forgot it though cuz i probably wouldn't have even found out about tamagotchi for who knows how many years later!!!! i also got a cute lanyard and keychains and a little unopened v4 decoration set from when i was little..... im so glad i kept these things

EDIT: OH YA I CANT BELIEVE I FORGOT TO ADD i had 2 of the tamagotchi corner shop ds games!!! they were fun to goof around in when i was bored. i replayed corner shop 3 recently and it's still surprisingly kinda fun if you have nothing else to do!

One year for Christmas when I was a kid, the main thing I wanted for Christmas was a Tamagotchi. I ended up getting one but since my parents didn’t know how to turn it off, they returned it and ended up getting me something else haha. Despite this I still watched a lot of videos about them though!! A few years back I got some for a cheap price, and they were cool to play around with!! They now have fancy pretty ones with colour, I want one but they are really expensive!

I tried to get into them but eh they never held my attention for more than maybe a week
Had one of the video games I think it was for the Wii or something idk and that was fun for a little

ahhh when I was little i used to love tamagotchis! I used to play the earlier generation ones, and i remember when they just introduced tamagotchi connection with the website to go with it! when i was really little I didn't ever keep a pet past adult stage though, i guess i was terrible with them. i've also been seeing ads on Wish that claim to sell authentic tamagotchis for less than $3, but I wonder if they're actually fake/knockoff ones?

I remember my mom buying the light pink v2 with red lipstick all over it for me when I was like 7 and that was my first ever tamagotchi. I forgot about the franchise for a long time but in 2013 decided to buy a Tamagotchi P and couldn't believe they were now in color and that you could dress your character. I then managed to snag a light pink english angelgotchi with the original packaging for only 15 usd one year when at the time they were going for $340+. I don't regret it at all.

Just a few months ago, I bought a Tamagotchi ON as an impulse buy but haven't really gotten around to playing with it yet. I'm not hardcore into the franchise like a few people seem to be but I do think it's cute and it's a nice time waster - plus the shells are pretty. For me personally, the collecting aspect and aesthetics are appealing but there's not enough in the actual game to keep me super hooked on it.
Who knows though, maybe I'll change my mind in the future when I finally get around to playing my ON.
