Appearance
Rudy has a mostly brown body, with white covering his face, paws, and the tip of his tail. The insides of his ears are yellow along with his sclera, and his pupils are black. He also has a round red nose. He initially wears a red grid shirt.

He gets along well with other villagers, primarily peppy villagers (Jock villagers' counterpart), normal villagers, and other jock villagers. He also gets along with lazy villagers, but sometimes become confused by their lifestyle. He may annoy snooty and cranky villagers with his upbeat personality and his obsession for sports and fitness.

In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Rudy's house has a rather childish theme, which reflects his age and personality. His choice of furniture primarily consists of the Ranch Series such as the bed and bookcase along with a cactus.
