CUBE IN BOXES
Cube (ビス, Bisu) is a lazy penguin villager in the Animal Crossing series who first appears in Animal Forest. He is possibly named after the GameCube, supported by the fact that his starting outfit is the GC logo Shirt. However as he appeared in Animal Forest on the Nintendo 64, his name is more likely based on an ice cube. He has appeared in all games up to date.
Appearance
Cube from N64 Animal Forest. Cube is an Emperor Penguin with yellow-orange cheeks and a large beak. His unique features are his large, white eyes with black, plus (+ or x) shaped pupils. His pupil shape may reflect on the idea of the GameCube and the typical GameCube D-pad. In Animal Crossing: Wild World, he wears the big dot shirt. Cube has blue on his flippers (arms), back, and very slightly up his neck to the bottom of his head. His head is a glossy black and his stomach is polished white. In Animal Crossing, he wears the GameCube Shirt that is blue with the GameCube logo in white. In Animal Forest, he wears the N64 shirt.
Personality
Below is a brief description of the lazy personality. For more information, click here.
As a sort of lazy villager, Cube will not get on too well with snooty and cranky villagers because they will not understand his lifestyle, which is a love of food and a relaxing, chilled outlook on life. He will also ask snooty villagers about their dinner plans, giving them ideas for their dinner and then dropping hints that he will be coming to eat and he will act the opposite of cranky villagers and will conflict, offend, and upset cranky villagers. He gets along with normal, peppy, and other lazy villagers, who are open-minded about other villagers' personalities. He doesn't get along with Jock villagers, but they are open-minded too. Cube can often be found in the city in Animal Crossing: City Folk.
House
Cube's house is mostly robot themed. He has a Red Snapper fish in a tank, which he may refuse to part with during Flea Markets. He also has a Daffodil Chair and a Tulip Chair. If Cube has a stereo in his home, it will play K.K. Technopop. He has the Mod Wall and Diner Tile.
In New Leaf, Cube's house has remained its old theme. However, there are now more robot furnitures than previous installments. Diner Tile still serves a role as his house's carpet, but the wallpaper has been changed to Modern Wall. K.K. Technopop still plays from his stereo.
