Anyone in the forums got tattoos?I kinda want Chloe's tattoo(life is strange.)The thing is though I see a small part of it goes over the elbow I believe and I was wondering how bad is pain on the elbow when you get a tattoo there since you know...there's barely fat there and there's a bone under.I've gotten my brows tattooed before a year ago,and it felt like cat scratches. But I'd like to know what getting a tattoo over the elbow area feels like cause Imma bit of a coward.Just a bit 😥

The pain wouldn't hold me back honestly, just bear with it! If you really want the tattoo I'm sure the pain is a very small price to pay for it.

It feels like a needle stabbing in to you many times cause that's exactly what it is

That being said it's bearable and if the tattoo is cool or meaningful it's worth it

However being tattooed on bonier parts of the body as opposed to fleshier parts does hurt worse

Just channel your inner Chloe and you're going to be alright! Getting the tattoo of a character is the best kind of fandom tattoo.

I wouldn't think it should hurt too badly, I am sure it feels weird being over the bone but if you've pinched your elbow skin before it doesn't really hurt. I was tattoo'd on my sternum and it really didn't bother me, at some points I could feel the vibration through my chest because it was over the bone but it wasn't really bad.

I have one on my leg, near my hip, and that wasn't painful. It just felt like a really bad sun burn.

The elbow is suppose to be a very painful spot to tattoo. Even when my artist got closer to my hip bone I could feel the difference. For myself and the location I would just end up making a face if it got painful.

Realistically though, the pain was worth it. I love my tattoo and it has a lot of meaning. For me, it reminds me that I have gotten through one battle of depression, and I can keep moving forward. Once I get a new job I want to get one that represents my anxiety.

I love Chloe. My boyfriend and I joke that he is Chloe and I am Max, so we ship them as a lesbian couple. However, are you really sure you want something unoriginal on your skin forever?

As far as pain, I've had my hand and around my wrist tattooed, which is really thin skin and very boney. Probably a little similar to the elbow. Everybody said it would hurt a lot, but I hardly felt it. It depends on your pain tolerance. Other places I've had tattooed definitely haven't hurt nearly as much as the boney areas. I personally think it's worth it.

I got two tattoos, one on my left wrist and one on the right side of my back.

You'll hear this often, but everyone has their own pain threshold. Mine was surprisingly high when I got my tattoos. It just felt like pinches. I also have 8 piercings (upper lobe on both ears, lower lobe both ears, cartilage both ears, tragus on left ear, and bellybutton). My piercings were okay except my tragus and bellybutton. Those hurt a lot. For some people I know, it didn't hurt at all! Some people say cartilage is the most painful for them but it was ezbreezy for me!

everyones pain tolerances are different.

my first (& only) tattoo so far that I've gotten is a half sleeve floral design (almost went 3/4 sleeve but I wanna hide it better for jobs etc.) and I am the biggest wimp ever (even shots at the doctor make me cry still and I'm 20) and it literally didn't hurt like at all. only areas that hurt were towards my armpit and inner elbow area. I don't have color yet but I have the full outline and shading done. outlining was nothing. I got the whole outline done my first appt (5 hours) and after a certain amount of time you kind of just go numb and it just is a really weird and strange sensation more than anything. shading though, not gonna lie, feels like your being slashed over and over for hours at a time because they use multiple needles in one gun for that and my tattoo is extremely detailed so that definitely hurt a bit but to me it was very worth it and I don't regret anything. the pain doesn't even come close to the meaning my tattoo has to me so it's whatever tolerance you personally have and how much your tattoo means to you for you to not worry much about the pain.

it's a different pain though. it's different, it's almost addicting and like... appealing. don't ask. everyone says the same thing, lol. it kinda gives you the chills and makes you want more and more in a strange way. it all depends on tolerance, placement & mindset.

Tattoos hurt man, I personally wouldn't recommend it unless you're real sure. And if you do then make sure you get it at a good place and not somewhere where they use some ink that fades real easy.
