I'm curious as to who is attached to what stationery (pens, pencils, white-out, rubber/eraser, etc)? Is there a particular pen you always use or do you have a colour bias when it comes to the ink you use? Is there any sentimental reason behind the stationery you use, or is it all just functional to you? Is there a specific type of writing utensil you prefer (eg mechanical pencil over regular pencil)?

For me I always use the same basic blue biro to do almost everything. I write all my essays, notes, maths, letters, and scribble. It's actually surprising how long it's lasted considering how much I use it (I've had it for almost a year now). I have no real reason to be attached to it, I just am because it's just a habit and comfortable to use after getting used to it. The only exception is this cat gel pen (black ink) I got with a friend that I use to write down my homework in my journal to make it neat and easily readable. Pencils I'm a bit more flexible on, I'll just use whatever I have. Which is a lot because random pencils keep appearing in my pencil case (okay, not appearing but they might as well be since I lost them for so long). I do have a preference for mechanical pencils though. The rubber I always use is an octopus one I got in the pound shop or something, maybe Dealz. I use the short pen-type tip-ex tube that you squeeze rather than the pots. I have more control over the amount that way.

I am older, so I may have an attachment to the #2 pencil... everything from the eraser, to having an excuse to get out of my chair in school to go sharpen my pencil in the noisy hand sharpener at the back of the classroom 😆

Today, the Pilot G-2 07 pens are gold at work. We got in trouble because everybody kept putting them in their pockets and taking them home. So they won't buy us nice clicky pens anymore... we are back to the pens that us kids used as chew toys as kids 😆

I prefer 0.7 mechanical pencils over wood. Also, I like those cheapo plastic mechanical pencils. I have tried the fancier ones that have a metal tip and they always die on me. The cheapo plastic ones you get many of them in a bag and they don't die on me. They are black and the clip is a bright color. I just have to make sure I don't lose them.
