Tbt discord.... is it worth it?

So, I've been thinking about joining the site's discord, but I'm still not sure because I've heard of bad stories that have happened there. I know the site's community is nice and all, but the discord might be different. So what do you guys think? Should I join the discord?

My advice would be to join and see for yourself it’s free and you can leave anytime.
Yes it’s different because it’s more instantaneous, free forming if that makes sense it’s a chat app and this is a online form.
There is a lot of overlap of members on here and on there. I am part of the Discord but I mostly just lurk.

I'm not sure what you've heard about our Discord server. I'm not aware of any drama occurring in there in recent years. Is it possible you have mixed it up with one of the many unofficial servers owned and run by TBT members? Outside of events and game nights it is a fairly quiet server in the grand scheme of things. If there are any issues that require immediate staff attention (fighting, spam, etc) you can use the command "@staff" to summon us. There is usually at least one of us online on Discord, however not everyone has their status visible.

Maybe but I do remember hearing about a bad situation on the server and it seemed like it was this one. Whatever it was it seems fine now so I'll probably join later

I haven’t used it since the last event but during the event it was extremely fun and was nice connecting with people I’ve seen around but never chatted with before. Everyone was great! I did not see any drama.

The server is definitely worth joining, and I'm not saying that just because of the enchiladas I posted. You should definitely join because everyone there is super fun to talk too, especially during events.

I would def reccomend joining. It's free, and if you don't like it you don't have to use it, you can just watch.

Not only that, but having a discord can help you out in future events/competitions that can possibly earn you more points. Some games are hosted on discord only as well.

The TBT’s server is free.

You leave leave the server whenever you want, though if you decide to rejoin it takes ten minutes to be able to type anything.

I was real hesitant in joining it at first too, but it's not so bad. It is super quiet in there when there's no event happening, but busting at the seams with activity when there are haha. It's worth having it around for events at the very least. I haven't seen any drama in there, but I'm sure if there were to happen any, the mods would bite it right on the butt.

Same here, I only use discord for the tbt events and when there are live streams
Besides that, I'm not a big discord user
