Hey everybody! I'm a little curious about how you guys think about certain games, so I've created a form for feedback on games. Fill it out, please

i do not have a lot of opinions yet. it is weird transitioning from playing with people who are in the same room as you, to playing in a forum setting. i have probably not played enough games to have really valid opinions, thus, instead of filling out the form, i just wanted to post.

the only thing that is absolutely killing me is the out of game communication. all information other than mafia chat should be available to all players through the main thread and the main thread only. i should not be at a disadvantage because other people know each other better and have trust and want to pm each other, while if i did the same, there would be trepidations simply because i am new, and not an established name.

i guess it is arguable that i am at a disadvantage, but eh.

Honestly, one of the problems we've had here in the no-PM game we had was a lack of in-thread communication.

We've had a lot of newbies in the recent games, so you can PM people without worrying about being established.

of course, i do not know the history of games here, but that being said, it sounds like an excuse of "but that is what we are used to and we do not want to do things differently" pls do not take that the wrong way because i am not trying to be inflammatory at all, but it makes me wonder how hard people tried to accommodate to the new things.

as for being able to pm people, sure, maybe i can if there are tons of newbies, but even if i can, i really do not feel it is right. something about it really just screams cheating to me, you know?

I've been playing forum mafia on here since December, and I agree with you. The out of thread communication is a pain. I love it for the social value, but in terms of gameplay it's irritating because (a) it leaves too much of town being left in the dark and (b) it leads to my biggest peeve of mafia games here: mass role claiming.

Mafia always find a way to worm one of their own into the main PM circle anyway.

Filled out and submitted! I talked about a role that I really like the idea of, but I just have to think of what this role would actually do. :/

So Google Forms is dumb AND WON'T LOAD UP MY THE SPREADSHEET so I can't see if Main or mini is liked more.

But Semi-Open is most popular, followed by Closed then Open.

AC Mafia was by far the favorite game. Bird Mafia was very disliked, for reasons such as mass roleclaiming, and too many new roles at once.

Favorite feature was pretty much the money system.

I like the idea of a buddy system in mafia, though it looks a lot like a bunch of Mason teams.

A Virus set-up looks interesting, where one person has a virus and spreads it to other people.

You guys have some interesting roles. Penguin role, paralyzer, lightkeeper.

It seems like QUITE a few people want the Arsonist role. I've always wanted to be the Arsonist <3

Since I can't see who was what, could the person who said " I thinks the hosting qualifications need to be higher..." PM me? I'm interested on this.
