It's as the name says: A chat for the observers of the game. AKA those not playing, and players after they die in the game.

Usually a split between speculation about the game, and dead players raging after dying.

I think this is a great idea - That's my first Mafia game on TBT and I am having a lot of fun, and before we got started I was spectating the previous Mini-Mafia and some of the older archived games, and I feel that it helped me out a lot. Since some of the same players are in this game as well, you would also learn to know a little bit about them, and their playstyles.

This is the best idea. A lot of players have a rich game history by now, you can start going back and reading through their posts when they were Town and Mafia, and look for their posting habits as both.
