So pretty much what the title says, tell me a little about the one you call yours
You can talk about their quirks, their personality, your favorite thing to do with them, anything!

I don't really have much to say about my boyfriend except he's the most adorable person I've ever met, our favorite thing to do is just hang out and cuddle (maybe watch Youtube or play a video game). I've been with him for a couple of years now and he really is the love of my life~

This such a sweet idea for a thread my friend! :D

I have been with my girlfriend for over 3 years now and she truly is the love of my life due to so many factors! :D She is super sweet, loves to be around children (very attractive trait in my book for someone you want to start a family with), loves to do stuff with me while also being able to be a bum with me as well xD, loves to talk about things, is able to resolve any issues that arise in a reasonable manner, loves to play video games with me on occasion, and so much more! :D Sure, she has her quirks and issues like I do as well, but it is how you handle those differences with the person you love that makes the difference in the long term! ;) I definitely know for a fact that I'll be asking for her hand in the near future! ;) <3

I have been with my husband for 16 years now and we've been married for 13 of those years. When we first met, I was actually in another long-term relationship. We were part of the same group of friends but since we're both shy, we didn't talk to each other much. I found out later that he liked me all the way back then.

Anyway, long story short...my other relationship took a turn for the worse. My ex became possessive and mentally abusive. My husband and I gradually became closer and he was very supportive during the lengthy process of building up my courage to leave my ex.

My husband is my angel. Without him, I don't know how long I would have stayed in that horrible relationship. And we are perfect for each other. We are similar enough to understand each other, but our differences compliment each other. For instance, I'm the serious, responsible one, but I can go overboard and when I do, his sense of humor and easy-going attitude can bring me back from the brink and keep me from worrying myself to death.

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to rave about my wonderful honey!

He's cool and not a normie, has connections in the Sinaloa drug cartel, pretty good meme game, doesn't mind if give company to my hoes, still lives with his parents but owns the house (still need to see his tax returns on that one). He supports me and my pursuit of a political career, and always smells good. We've been together for 5 months and definitely had our struggles but it only makes us stronger, so yeah we basically bianca knowles and jay z.

I grew up with mine, we even have the same birthday. We've pretty much always been inseparable.

Always there ready to raise spirits with a enthusiastic thumbs up. Has a weird habit of poking people. Looks pretty weird with makeup on so I just don't let her wear it, if she does I'll trap her fingers in the door again.

I remember the time I was nailing some wood together and she wouldn't stop getting in the way so I bashed her in the head with the hammer. As the saying goes, it hurt me more than it hurt her.

We've been together for 8.5 years now (i think. it's been so long I forget lol). It was a mutual friend of ours that set us up. I was a bit iffy at first but I'm glad she did.

She's outgoing but can also be a bit shy at times. We make each other laugh a lot and she's the most huggable person I know. We don't always so eye to eye but she's always there for me when I need her. I try to be there for her too. Only negatives I can think of is her taste in music (heavy metal. bleh) and that she hates video games. lol I can live with that I suppose. :p

We've been talking about moving together but it never leads to anything. Mostly because of me. Change scares me. :/ I know she's the one so I should really get over that. We both have a lot of savings so we should be able to get a decent enough place for ourselves.

me and my guy have been together for almost 6 yrs. He is intelligent, funny, outgoing, and (obvs) very good looking. I honestly couldn't imagine life without him :)

My boyfriend and I have been together for nearly two years. We're long distance, and we met because he makes memes on youtube, and in one video he was talking in it. Needless to say, I'm a sucker for attractive voices, and I joined his new discord server. We started talking from there and became official somewhere in March of 2017. We see each other about four times a year, and it's usually about 2 weeks each time. I was thirteen when I first met him, about to turn fourteen, and he was fifteen. We're only a year and a few months apart, but sometimes it looks like we're two years apart depending on the time of year.

He matches my personality extremely well, and we both have a strong love for animals and video games. He's studying to become a PA, and is a super smart guy who does really well in school. We're both pretty health-conscious people, and enjoy getting out and exploring, e.g hiking, swimming, etc. We like the same shows and movies, and he's opened me up to a lot of different foods. I had never tried Indian food, for instance, until he brought me to an Indian restaurant for a date, and it's now one of my favorite foods. He's the sweetest guy I've ever met and I love him (almost) as much as my dog, which is saying A LOT for me.

The only thing that bothers me about our relationship is that we look pretty similar, which leads me to be wrongfully embarrassed and insecure at times. We both have brown hair, pretty pale skin, and similar eye colors. I have green/blue eyes, and his are straight green. It can just be embarrassing because I sometimes feel people think we're related, and then they see us kiss or something lmao. Though, I doubt anyone really thinks that and it's just me being insecure for no good reason. Anyway, yeah, he's a great guy, and I'm really happy he's mine :)

My love life has been very, very hectic over the past couple of years. I suppose I just didn’t really know what I was looking for, and I ended up falling for people I had no real comparability with. I think I have the right balance now with the current man in my life. I don’t believe in soulmates anymore, but I know someone or something brought very specific people into my life for very specific purposes, and I hope this time it’s for permanence.

While I don't have a significant other I do have this girl that I really really do love and she's my best friend. Even if I can't be with her I sill always do my best to make her happy. I could go on and on and on about her, like how her laugh is the cutest thing in the world or how she loves knights!!

Does she give you hints of having the same feelings back? If you really believe that there is something there, I definitely would encourage you to share your feelings when the time is right! ;) I know a lot of people are concerned of ruining great friendships through such propositions, but I feel like you need to follow what you believe is right especially if you feel that the other person feels the same for you and that it truly is the real deal (you have to take a leap of faith to find the right person for you)! ;) If you say some of the same things you said in your post like how you want to always make her happy, her cute laugh, etc., I guarantee you that will mean a ton to her even if it means just staying friends in the end! :) I wish you the best of luck on your endeavors and I bet a lot of us who follow this thread will be interested in hearing an update in the future! ;)

I just got my boyfriend to join here as SeizureChicken actually lol

We've been together forrr going on 3 years in a few months.
We have a kinda cute story I guess? We both started to like each other in middle school but neither of us knew it. We had a trip to the Chesapeake Bay one year and I sat near him on the bus and complimented his music. That was the only interaction we had all through school. I even have a dang heart around his picture in my middle school yearbook LOL.
I dated a couple guys through school, and when I went to college I met someone and we dated for close to 5 years. He kinda up and left unexpectedly and I was shattered. A few months later, this handsome fellow messaged me "hey" on fb lol. We stayed up until the early hours of the morning talking and texting cause I gave him my number. I'm a SHY person but he invited me over to his house like that next day and I actually went. It was crazy to see him again after being out of high school for a few years. He's super tall now and I melted when I first saw him again
Anyway, we hung out that whole night and chitchatted about our exes, he had just gotten out of a really bad relationship and stuff too. Everyone said we were just rebounding each other but we're going on 3 years and still doing fine!
Had some hiccups here and there due to depression and financial stress and stuff but we're working through everything.

Had plans to move in together but that's the financial stress and stuff I mentioned earlier haha. So that's in the future /eventually/ *glares at him*

It's actually funny, her and I. She completely knows that I love her, I constantly tell her, but shes unsure about her feelings and doesnt wanna say anything until she really knows, which is fine! In all actuality, shes taken, at the moment, so there really isnt much I can do. All I know to do is make sure shes happy no matter what, y'know!

Omg he's so handsome!! He's a little bit outlandish, but he's also very charming and witty. I couldn't ask for anyone else. He's tall, likes the same colors that I like, he loves tennis, he has a great mustache...

Oh sorry, that's Waluigi. RIP my love life

I have a blow-up doll named Xxedgydeathlord2005xX if that counts towards some credit. If not then, I don't have one. I'm joking btw

High school sweetheart. Rough start, mainly because I had a wall up toward everyone when I moved schools in 11th grade. But made friends with his friends in our complex and I finally started to open up with him. He's kinda the same way- shy (but great with people, I'm not lol). We've been together 7 years now. It's been a rocky road as we can have clashing personalities and insecurities lol, but we love and care for each other and do what we can to make it work. We do plan on marrying, but nowhere soon; we're both very careful test-the-ice kind of people. We're looking for stability before the next step.

He had to move in with his mum late 2017 in another state, and it's been SO hard. He's a night manager, so the poor thing works hard at night and sleeps all day. The rocky road is even harder now, but we're still together and trying to make it work. All we can do now is work and pray to see where this goes.

That is truly heartwarming to hear and kudos to you for your patience (real love is patient)! :D I will definitely say that it sounds like she will be making the next move though because she needs to know what she really wants in that aspect of life before sticking with her current relationship or deciding that you are the one for her (she needs to break it off first though for it to be right because you don't want someone who is willing to cheat [because they will most likely cheat again unfortunately]). Until that time comes, all you can do is be what you have always been for her and be the best friend you can possibly be for her even if your desires towards her make it hard at times! I do believe there is a strong purpose behind your friendship knowing how special it is through your point of view, all you can do is have faith that you will find the true purpose of it whether it is ending up with the person you currently love or simply knowing what you really want in life in that aspect. I truly wish you the best of luck and please keep us updated! :D

My boyfriend and I have been together for 6 and a half years now. We met in college, and were long distance on and off until we moved to a new state together. We've been in CA for 3 years now.

He is the person who keeps me grounded and encourages me. When I'm going thru a depression, he is the best at knowing when to comfort and when to tell me to get my **** together.

He's goofy and smart. He's not jealous at all - of my success or of friendships with other men. Which is good because I'm a driven, ambitious person and I like to have friends of all types.

I can talk to him about anything. He is my favorite human.
