I know you've already made a bit of posts already, but I'll say this anyways lol

On any forum site, I usually join and then spend time lurking through the boards until I learn the culture, norms, and rules of the boards. Then, I'll post in the equivalent of TBT's basement for a bit, since rules aren't very enforced. As I get more comfortable, I then branch out into other topics until I feel like a confident member.
