Peace at The Bell Tree. Something you never really hears. Well, we’ve had a year of peace since the events of 2009. This is the beginning of a new year and a new start. We’ve moved to a bigger and better area with tons of opportunities and everyone has started with a clean slate. Old enemies have become friends and some that were lost have returned to us. However, with one side of a coin, there’s always another. Unless it is a one-sided coin, but, that’s not what I’m referring to here. I’m talking about a two-sided coin. One that makes you wish it was a one-sided coin.
The Bad Side: Some members have not returned to us. Smart_Tech_Dragon_15, ƒish, my dear friend, dsmaster64, are amongst those that have been lost. However, we’ve had enough time to mourn. We must now be concerned with the well-being of the community. That is our job; the job of Odd’s Minions. Though, we’ve stopped calling him Odd. He now goes by Tyler. He “hung up his cape” a while ago, so to speak. There are many members in Odd’s Minions. Some of the members in this group are AndyB, Jas0n, Micah, Miranda, Ciaran, Thunderstruck, Tom, [Nook], Sggt. Garrett, Tyler - of course, and then there’s me - Neo Bacon Boy. I only felt it right to put Neo at the beginning of my name at this new forum for the fact that it is a new forum.
Each member has something to bring to the table in this group, as well. What? Did you think that we were just a random bunch of members signing up to a group just because it was created by Odd himself? Of course not! Well… maybe some, but a majority of us have joined because we want to protect the community. No longer is this a dictatorship.
Let’s start out with introductions. First off, we’ll start out with AndyB. He’s a British who is secretly a member of Interpol. He doesn’t like to bring it up because of some agency secrecy thing. I don’t know. Next is Jas0n. Want to know why his o is a 0 and not an o? Can’t tell you. He changes the sorry every month. This month, it had something to do with a dirty Signature Contest. There was some bribing in it and… I don’t really know the whole story. You’ll have to ask him. Next is Micah. He’s the guy who knows everything about music. He’s like the modern day clone of Bulerias, except he sings too. He’s a mod in the site, so he’s also pretty high up. There’s Miranda. She’s an admin just like Tyler. No one really knows how she got the job. Someone said she had it all along, it’s just that no one realized it. There’s Ciaran. He’s a ginger, so he’s kind of the odd one out of the group, but we love him all the same. He provides comic relief. Thunderstruck is the member formerly known as Master Crash. He is the quiet one of the group. He and Andy usually monitor everything and tell us when something’s up. There’s Tom. No one’s sure how old he is. Some speculate eons, but he doesn’t look a day over 18. He’s the detective of the group, so naturally, he shows up out of no where and vanishes mysteriously. [Nook] is an odd one. He annoys everyone in some way shape or form, but can be useful when he wants to be. It depends on the day. Sggt. Garret fought in some war. I’m not allowed to tell which war. I’m just allowed to say that he was in a war and that they won. Tyler, the other admin, is our leader. He started this groups in hopes of creating a secret militia just in case something like 2009 starts again. Lastly, there’s me, Neo Bacon Boy. I am the “engineer” of the group. I can fight, of course, but I’d rather sit back and take care of the technical stuff. I also relay information between the higher-ups and the average ones.
Now, for the story. It all started on January 23, 2011. Andy and Thunder came running into my office, “BB, we have trouble. There’s a strong herd of trolls coming in from the north region,” Thunder said nervously. “So what? We deal with heaps of them on a daily basis. Some get through our gates, some don’t. The ones that do, we snipe off or they die down, eventually,” I reply, leaned back in my chair with my arms behind my head. Andy slapped me and pulled out a device similar to an iTouch and showed me a map with red dots on it, “This is the regular pattern of trolls. You know, running around like chickens with their heads cut off heading off in different directions. However,” he flicked the screen and a new map appeared, “this… this is weird, to say the least. They’re all in ten by ten columns marching at the same pace. It’s almost as if there’s some order to their thinking now. It’s as if they’ve become intelligent.” “Andy, you and I both know that trolls are mindless creatures with the sole purpose of annoying a forum,” I said in disbelief. This idea sounded ridiculous. Trolls that could think? “BB, we’ve cleaned the scanner and run diagnostics. Hell, we even sent out [Nook] to go survey and he came back with the same results that we did: an invasion of thinking, intelligent trolls.”
