At the end of Guest Star mode, which is confusing on whether that is canon, Galacta Knight appears once again but before you can fight him, an orange butterfly appears and absorbs him, turning into Morpho Knight. The "greatest warrior in the galaxy" gone instantly because of a *butterfly?*
The design for Morpho Knight was previously only seen in a booklet that came with Kirby's Dream Collection. It was concept art on Meta Knight's page with no context, though recently it has been discovered it was supposed to be concept art for a well known cancelled Gamecube Kirby game.
So more about this butterfly- Ever since Kirby Return's to Dream Land, this oramge butterfly started appearing in the opening and ending cutscenes. It is also in the ones for Kirby Triple Deluxe and Kirby Planet Robobot

Your eyes recover quite quickly after the giant explosion, but that's more than you can say for your Petpet. The Kookith is kind enough to sweep up Lazpip for you and you head home.
