The donation box is a great idea but...

I thought it was for villagers to put money in to donate towards PWPs sort of like optional taxes....

Villagers donate directly to Lloyd.

I was hoping to use the donation box like a piggy bank to stash my money tree loot, but making 30 donations a day is a little tedious . A nice idea with bad executio!

I was hoping it was the beginning of the town hall donation box being back, where you would give pelly bells for ’charity’ and after donating certain amount of bells you would get a letter in the post saying how your donation has helped the people it was give to along with a item, i know it seems like a little in game addition but it would of been a nice throwback to of been added other than this piece of furniture which is just for show.

I have a box outside my airport. I do agree that it should have worked like the ABD but be deposit only.

If you ever visit my island, it has Isabelle's face on it.

i personally dont like the donations box. i like having folks come to my town, and when they Do i dont want to beg for donations! if they bring a gift with them then its awesome, but they dont have to give me anything at all. besides that i have a number of gifts around my town that all visitors are totally allowed to take. if they want to leave me some bells then they are free to let me know, or just dump them on the ground hahaha

It's cute and has some functionality which I like but I suppose that like you guys said it had more potential.
