hello sweet angels, and welcome to the driftwood times, an island
journal based around the lovely fantasy(ish) island of driftwood!
im your host and resident representative, sprout (any
pronouns), and im more than happy to have you
here on this fine day!

this island is a work in progress! the attempt is to make it a fairycore island,
with at least one of each personality trait as a resident. this island journal will
document the progress of that, along with events, quotes, and
other little discoveries i find on my island.

hi everyone! im sprout, and this is the first edition of the driftwood times! im so excited to be here, and im so thankful that youre reading this, since im pretty sure little to no one is going to check this regularly.

if this is your first time reading here, hello and welcome! assuming youve read the introductory post above, you already know how things work around here, so i wont bore you with all the details. feel free to scroll to your own leisure! if youre a returning viewer, thank you so much for coming back! feel free to start reading where you left off or pick somewhere new! im always happy to have you!

alright, lets get onto what happened today! unfortunately i dont have any screenshots from the days work, so im afraid i'll have to bore you with words. im going to try to be more consistent with screenshots though!

today is december 27, 2021. i logged on this morning to find that the nooklings were buying turnips for only 56 bells. i'll pass, thanks. i gathered my fossils and dropped them outside the museum which is currently under construction! the roost is being added on, but i didn't want to miss an opportunity to get new fossils, so i grabbed them all. i also caught a sturgeon for the first time and placed that outside to donate tomorrow.

i flew down to harv's island and admired the new shop that has been opened for cyrus and reese! i didn't have any furniture on me that i was wanting to customize, but i immediately blew 100k bells on their shop because i knew i would in the future.

i also went on a boat tour with good old kapp'n and dug up a gyroid fragment.

later on i flew to my partner's island to help them clear up their weeds. my fingers were sore from all the button clicking, but we ended up with, i want to say at least 1000, which is amazing!

today was quite uneventful, but i promise the next edition will be so much more interesting! hopefully i'll see you all next time!
