The Dark Elf grabbed her hand tightly, as if his life depended on it.
"I'm all ready. Let's do it."
He felt so willing to accept whatever happened, it was odd.
Rikuto was pretty strange himself, what nerve did he have to call Arlena strange?
As the shadows engulfed them, and then clearing away into a world of grey, black, and white. Arlena gazed into his eyes. "Not so bad, right? I find it peaceful here." She said as they walked around, seeing the world in black and white, but their colors remained such as her eyes and his 'blonde' hair.
"The thing is, we can walk around as we normally would, but everything is greyscale. Normal people would just see us as flat shadows on the ground, but we get to walk as if we were normal. Pretty neat, if I may say." Arlena gripped his hand tighter.
"So, as you accept this world maybe you will appear matching to it."

Rikuto stared around at the 'shadow world' parallel to theirs.
"Amazing.. You've came here before?" he said, upon feeling her grip his hand tighter he instinctively did the same.
Everything seemed so different here, it was amazing and different. It was like a place no one could follow you to, a place to get away from everything that bothered you.
As he accepted the world that was opened to him, the shadows twisted around Rikuto.
The Dark Elves bright 'blonde' hair shot and morphed into jet-black, but his vivid amber eyes stayed the same.
The look was much more fitting for a Dark Elf than his old, and Rikuto took a deep breath, not sure of what had happened.

"Yes, I practically live here along with Darkwood. I could have ran away to this place alone, never to be seen again.. but I'm really glad you're here with me." Arlena looked up at him and smiled, their eyes glowing in the shadow world as the only color that was left.
"Much better." She said, running her fingers through a strand of his jet black hair.
"If you don't like it you can always switch back, but it might not allow you back into this world." She looked down, hoping he wouldn't change his mind. The realm had an odd silence, there was no sound other than voices.
"The funny part is, you can re-enter the old world from shadows from objects or people. I like to scare people by coming back through their shadows and just randomly being there."

"I'm glad I'm here with you, too." Rikuto sighed deeply, smiling as she touched his hair.
" I wouldn't dream of switching back, I think I'll be happier like this. And it sounds like you have fun, being able to come here." He laughed, wishing he could have experienced Arlena sneaking up on him as well.
woo im back and i got creeped on today by 2 guys in my school... ****ing weirdos im crying. one grabbed my 3ds from me and tried to steal it... but the teacher caught him
