"Oh." Yoru said flatly.
The two approached her apartment, and she pointed. "Right there... We'll both drop down on the count of three."

"One."

"Two."

'Three!" Yoru's waves dissolved, causing her support of their flight to drop. Nayota's flames were the only thing left supporting them.

I didn't know whether or not to keep my flames up, so I did. I bet everyone would banish her as well.

Without Yoru's water propelling them, Nayota's flames weren't enough to hold the both of them so they gently flew down until they touched the ground in front of Yoru's apartment.
She unlocked the door, and opened it, pulling Nayota inside and locking the door behind them.

"Are you okay?" Yoru demanded, while her voice remained soft.

Yoru shoved her other cookie into his hands, glancing to the side in slight shyness while her face heated up.
"Eat this.." she mumbled, trying to sound fierce.
"You must still be pretty shaken up.."

Satoshi yawned, his eyelids were heavy and he couldn't reopen them. He slowly drifted off to sleep. Jason fell asleep a few minutes later.

"Y-Yeah.." I say.

I didn't really like the cookies, so I refused, saying, "No, i-it's okay.."

Yoru flinched, then snatched it back from him. "Fine! Suit yourself!" she snapped, sounding angrier than she was. Her face still felt hot, and she was uncomfortable with it.

Shrugging, she stared at the ground, and muttered quietly; "..You should probably spend the night here, if you go out again you'll just run into the cops."

"O-Okay..." I say.

Yoru sighed and took a deep breath, regaining her calmness.
"Anyways... How did you get in trouble with the cops in the first place?" she murmured.

"W-When you l-left the t-top of t-the building, I-I jumped, and t-the fire caused e-enough of a boost for me too f-fly...b-but I g-guess I scared a f-few people....a-and now i'm a-a danger to s-society, apparently..."

Yoru nodded curtly. "I see.."
She guessed it was because fire was a dangerous ability, to most people.
Even someone of the Water element such as herself, could still get flesh burns from fire. Water just allowed the user to 'put out' a Fire element.

"S-So...should I c-crash on the s-sofa?"

"You can have my bed... I'll take the sofa..." Although Yoru was usually cold to others, that didn't mean she was rude enough to make a guest sleep on the couch.

Yoru strolled over to the couch, and lay down on it, refusing to argue.

I sigh, and walk to her bed, and lie on it, not pulling the covers over.

Yoru shut her eyes and curled into a tight ball on the couch, much like a cat would.

I fall asleep, not so easy though with the weight of being banished on my shoulder.
