Why are the letters 'S' and 'E' by names in the adopted/voided section?

It tells you if the villager was adopted or voided by me (E) or Sean (S). So, you'll be able to see if there is still a chance of the that same villager moving in, if one us hasn't had them yet. Does that make sense?
