I didn't break a bone but I twisted my ankle pretty bad and it didn't heal until like 8-10 months later.

ouch! I've never broken any bones either but I stepped on a piece of glass last year and my foot still hurts to this. I went and had x-rays done and everything bc it used to hurt so bad I would have to literally crawl out of bed! I think it messed with the muscles some how? Or the scar tissue does? Idk but it still gives me problems!
