Some advice for the kids out there: spend the rest of your lives, from the moment you stop reading this, creating experiences to fill this thread up with.
I have a lot, most of which include traveling, seeing cool places, exotic beaches, following rock n roll bands state to state, catching shows in different cities. But, if I were to pick one moment, one thing I did that if I died today, people would probably talk about most at my funeral, is when I broke into a rival school in the middle of the night, broke into the trophy case, and stole a trophy that should've been ours. Just like you see in the movies. I actually did that. It's a very long story, I won't type out every detail. I did end up getting caught, because some moron kid was talking too loud at school about it, so when a teacher overheard they called him into the office and grilled him, so he got scared and gave up the information. Idiot. So I had to go to court over it, was initially charged with felony burglary, but was dropped down to a petty misdemeanor, and I barely got into any trouble. Luckily I got onto the judge's good side that morning.
I know there are two sides to this coin. People who think it's awesome and legendary, while others think it was wrong, and very mean. But I think my dad summed it up the best, when he found out what I did. I came home, he didn't look happy, and he said, "Hey....you stole that trophy......." with a look of serious disappointment. He wanted me to know, you know? Then a few seconds later he said, "But hey........you stole the trophy!!" and gave me a high 5. Then continued to tell me I can't and shouldn't be doing stuff like that, etc.
If I leave an impression on anybody, with any words that I've ever typed in this forum, I hope it's with this phrase: "Let's do something that will make us remember tonight for the rest of our lives..."
What are your life's exotic moments that really stand out? I understand not everybody will have much, but that's ok. I know a lot of the kids here are younger, maybe have the freedoms (license, car, etc) to actually get out and do anything too crazy just yet. It's never too late to come up with something good. Be creative. Then report back.
