So my Skye moved out recently, of her own free will. I've never used any amiibos, since I don't own any lol. The day after Skye was gone, the new plot was already sold!? I check the sign, it's Rosie. Okay, cool I'm into Rosie, so that's fine. The next day, Isabelle tells me to welcome Rosie to the island. I go to welcome her and her door says I've moved out. Her plot is now glitched and won't leave. WHAT??!
My theory: remember on New Leaf how we would always have to ask people to clear their void out before showing up to our towns so they didn't risk offloading a villager on us by accident? Apparently that can still happen on New Horizons. I've been having a lot of people in and out of my island for various trades recently and someone must have forced a Rosie out and she ended up glitching out on my island. Sadness.
