Hello all! What do you guys consider the quirkiest part of animal crossing? You only have to think about the game for a matter of seconds to remember how quirky it is: The personalities, the phrases, the characters, the activities, literally any aspect of the game :) Which one of these elements stands out the most to you as being quirky and which did you notice first when you played the game for the very first time (an also which game was that)??? Answer this as generally or specifically as you like and for any ac game. Very interested to hear your thoughts and/or stories!

I think I would have to say the villagers. When I first saw my old best friend playing Wild World, I didn't realize the villagers in the game until I got a good look at them. When I did see them, I fell in love instantly. I really love Animals and since I saw this game, I just had to get it. I remember all the good times playing with my old best friend...

I guess another thing that was quirky to me was how easy and relaxed this game was. There were so many neat things to do in it and it literally is the best game ever. ^-^

I'm suprised they would just give you free stuff, if I asked for something in real life. I won't get anything, haha. ;)

Is catching and pulling up a whale shark on a fishing rod considered quirky?

Otherwise, I like how you could shoot down a UFO in Wild World with just a slingshot and how you're rewarded for righting your own wrongs.

The quirkiest thing for me has always been fishing up something huge, like a whale shark, and then stuffing it in my pocket.

Although I think the new mechanic in New Horizons that allows you to eat fruit and then dig up an entire tree is pretty quirky too. I think it will be very useful, but quirky nonetheless.

I started to play Animal Crossing with Wild World back then and I would say the quirkiest part for me was meeting my villagers for the very first time. Like, I didn't know anything about the villagers and therefore didn't know that they had different personalities. It was in fact quite funny to discover all of them from time to time. Another thing which was quirky was the language of the characters and how it sounded in general. I didn't expecting them making those weird noises when they were talking, sometimes I tried to figure out if they were saying actual words or not. I found it at first kinda dumb, but after a while just adorable.

The villagers, especially in Gamecube and Wild World. They talked about the weirdest things, it was so cute and funny.
