How to get a perfect town
After much research, I have come up with a guide to getting a perfect town. It does not have every meticulous detail such as how many flowers does it take to cancel out 13 weeds in it, but it has the base guidelines to follow to getting a perfect town.
Here's a quick summary of what I've found. Detailed description below.
-AC:CF is divided into acres.
-Each acre makes up 16x16 spaces. (find this by digging holes)
-There are 5x5 acres in each town for 25 acres total.
-The max amount of trees per acre: 21.
-This includes every acre. Yes, even the Town Gate and Lake.
-The minimum amount of trees per acre: probably 14. (see below)
-The ideal amount of trees per acre: probably 17-19. (see below)
-Flower/Weed system is probably the same as AC:WW's.
So, to get a perfect town, you must:
Plant 17-19 trees per acre (a few acres can have 14 or 21, just not all), 2-3 flowers per acre (again, not every acre), have 0-2 weeds per acre, and no garbage anywhere outside for a perfect town.
How I found all this information out:
Today, I finally got fed up of my town rating never changing. I planted so many trees and flowers and my rating never changed. I planted three new trees today and when I checked my town rating (for the hundredth time) it finally said something new. It said I had too many trees in some areas. So one at a time I dug up the trees I planted and eventually found the tree that changed my rating.
With careful planning, I buried a tree to the left of it each time until the rating didn't say I have too many trees. I found out the acre is 16 spaces horizontal. I then tested vertically, and sure enough, there are 16 spaces vertically for each acre.
Conclusion: There are acres in AC:CF and they are the same size as an AC:GC acre which is 16x16 spots. (you can find this out by digging 16 holes horizontally) I also found out each town is comprised of 5x5 acres for a total of 25 acres.
Okay, I then tested many acres including: Town Hall, Tom Nook's, My house, beach acre, Town Gate, Lake, and an open acre (an acre without any sort of major building in it) to find what the maximum amount of trees each acre could have.
For every acre, the max amount of trees you can put in an acre before getting the "too many trees" message is 21. I haven't tested a minimum yet since that would require getting a better rating and destroying trees until I get the "needs more trees" message. Though I'll probably get it by tomorrow.
I'm guessing the weed/flower system is similar if not the same to AC:WW's, so the main problem is figuring out the ideal amount of trees to plant per acre.
Well, I can make a really good guess, though it might be off by one at most. In AC:GC, the minimum and maximum amount of trees per acre are 9 and 16 respectively. The "ideal" tree amount is 12-14. So, add 5 to all those numbers (16+5=21) and the ideal amount of trees you get in AC:CF is 17-19 with the minimum being 14.
Conclusion:
Plant 17-19 trees per acre, 2-3 flowers per acre, 0-2 weeds per acre, and no garbage for a perfect town.
