Day 119. So today was a nervewracking day, I'd say. I had my piano recital after school! But before that, I'm gonna give a setup to another part of the blog... At band today, I decided to use the school's piano to practice my songs (I had 'em memorized.. Had to!) Anyway, during Canon in D, this girl I have a HUGE crush one (the heartbreaker from DC) came up to me and said I'm amazing or something and that she loves that song. So yeah, that really brightened my day... And I couldn't get her out of my mind after that... ALL DAY. But let's come back to that. The recital took place at quarter after five and it was about an hour away so I left at four. I listened to Bon Jovi the whole way up (thank you Greatest Hits) and I came across a song that I instantly loved... Always. After listening to it a few times, I got the lyrics down... And I realized that they completely explained me. It's about this guy who loves a girl who loves someone else or something... And it kind brought me down, you know. I thought about her rejecting me and how much I liked her you know... I tried texting her later on, but she didn't reply so I was even more bummed. But enough about that, let's get to the recital. I had to play the C scale and a song... Then the D scale and another song (Well, scales and chords) It wasn't hard, but I was super nervous. I made a few mistakes in my songs (in fact, I had to restart Canon because I forgot the notes) End results? I got a Superior grade (best is Superior plus, but you can only get that when you play more songs) I was super proud and the judge wrote many nice things, which made me feel epic. My mom and I ate pizza afterwards to celebrate, so you know.. It was a pretty good day overall. I just need tips getting over this girl. She's taking over my mind! Well, as always, thanks for reading and seeya!
