The Signature Guide

I'm trying to create and upload a signature but I don't think it can be seen. Does anyone know why it isn't working? I uploaded the image to imgur and copied the link

When you're getting the link for anything uploaded to Imgur, made sure to press the "Copy Link" button that's beside "BBCode (Forums)" under "Get share links" for the image, as shown here:

The end result will give you this BBCode that you can use in your signature to display your image!

Thank you! 😊

Hi! I was wondering if anyone can tell me if with the text, if my signature is over the limit?

Hi I was curious if the size limits have changed for pictures? Because I keep tying to use this signiture a friend drew for me, but it keeps turning into the code within a few hours. I'm kinda confused why it does

If it's the wrong size I can edit it. Sorry its been awhile since I've worked with signatures here.

I'm not sure where you had it hosted, but try this one. 💗 It's already the correct height, so as long as you don't add anything else like text to your signature, you should be fine. 💗

These dang things never work for me, did I fix the size? I can’t tell. I even shrank the width and lost like, half of the picture. If someone knows how to get the full picture and still be in the size requirements, let me know! <3

Yep! Your signature is measuring at 250px for me, so it's good to go!

As for using the full picture, as long as you use the height option on the image (i.e. [img height=250px]link[/img]), that will allow you to keep it at or under the limit pretty easily!

Thanks! What about for the width too? That was the only reason I didn’t, was because the width was over as well. It was surprising cause it was the same one I used last year and had saved because it worked. How would I format it for height and width restrictions in the BB code?

We don't check the dimensions of the width, only the height! So if it's wider than the ideal signature size listed in the OP, that's okay! Just make sure to keep it at or under 250px height-wise!

Just for future reference, if you wanted to adjust the width of an image, you'd use the width option (i.e. [img width=250px]link[/img]). XenForo only allows one of the height/width options to be used, as if you try to use both, it'll give precedence to the width option. So it's best just to use the height option when editing your signature.

Oh man, that makes it soo much better! Thank youuu!

Just checking if sig ok? I’m hopeless at this, used one that was ok before but must have added more text or something? Thank you 💜

Edit: looks small 🥲

Yes, your signature is measuring at 162px for me, so it's acceptable! If you're wanting to increase the size of your signature image, feel free to copy the below into your signature, since it'll be below the height limit:

Hi! I fixed my signature since I saw the message about it being too big. I was wondering if anyone can tell me if it is okay now?
