So...To make my return to TBT, I've decided that I should just say this. The board game itself is REALLY slow/non-involved, which is NOT the feeling I want when I essentially play what is a tabletop game x.x It's especially saddening because I love playing virtual board games, i.e. 100%OJ.
So it kinda feels like it's not worth buying this game for the board. And I mean, sure, stalk market exists, but Fortune Street exists, too, and it delivers better when I want to play economic risk games.
But I don't think shelling out money for this and a Tom Nook amiibo was put to waste - and that's because of Survival Island. This minigame...How should I put this?...Why didn't they just make a downloading Eshop game off of this? I love it and the fact that different amiibo cards can get you a plethora of different abilities and characters to choose from.
I've only played the first two stages myself, but I have pretty high hopes for the later levels given how they appear from their map silhouettes and that even these earlier stages have a little challenge involved zel.

EDIT: I meant Eshop game, not DLC game. Derp.
