I know I've made an appreciation thread for my all time favorite villager O'Hare, but my 2nd favorite deserves one too. Here's a ton of cute pics I took of him:

Love him a lot even if he is underrated and low tier, he was my starter in NL and I placed my house next to him when I started the game, so I would see him everyday. I was obsessed with him that time, that I made a room based of his house in NL and dressed up like a cat most of the time. I would always talk to him everyday and made my game have an extra hour so he would be awake. He is my most favorite villager in AC series and he gave me his photo the most out of everyone and always sent letters about being friends. I hope he moves in my NL town someday although I have him in NL.

I love Tom so much, he is one of my favorites. He moved into my new leaf town around 2013-2014. Tom was just one of the villagers I loved and connected with as soon as he moved in and now having him back on my island is great. He really makes it feel like home! Honestly, I really love seeing more love for Tom lately. I feel like when I was playing new leaf I never saw anyone talking about him or looking for him for their town.
I love him and am so happy to have him on my island.

Ah!!! I had him in my NL town for such a long time! He was one of my starting villagers and really grew on me so I ended up keeping him until my town was reset. Honestly, I still love him and he's such a cool villager to have <3 very underrated.

Tom's really cute indeed, he has the same name as me IRL lol plus he's a cat, my favorite animal (I'd also be a cat if ever I become a villager too tho lol) so I have a soft spot for him, part of my dreamie line up, but I encountered Chief first while island hopping so unfortunately I won't be having him in my island for now (as I usually just have 1 villager/personality plus the ones I really want, which is already occupied)

I had Tom in both my NL towns. I was annoyed at first because he plopped down where I wanted to put a player house after I picked him up via Streetpass but he grew on me. Then when I got my 2DS he was a starter and I was excited.

I'm bumping this thread because Tom is the best cranky villager ever and he needs to be noticed by everyone. I mean, he does share a name with a certain tanuki, but that's irrelevant, really.

He's literally a COOL CAT.

I love Tom! I haven't had him in New Horizons, but he was one of my starting villagers in New Leaf and quickly became one of my favorites. I honestly wasn't planning to keep him at first, but he really grew on me, and he's a big part of why I like the Cranky villagers so much. It's great seeing that he's having a grand ol' time on so many lovely islands nowadays.

I was a bit confused too when I first found out about this cat. It makes sense to name him Tom ('cause Tom & Jerry), so when I'm referencing the two characters in a story, I refer to Tom by just that, and Tom Nook as simply "Nook" or "Mr. Nook". He's pretty underrated and needs more love.

That's me and most of the normal villagers. I love a lot of them, but I've only ever had less than a handful. And yes, Tom is pretty cute for someone who wrestled back in the day (actual Nintendo lore BTW).

For a cranky villager, I love how he frequently looks happy. That's one of the reasons I like him so much. Not all cranky villagers need to have angry-looking rest faces, so it's a refreshing change to see someone like Tom walk around my island and enjoy life.

I have Tom in New Leaf and as others have said, I did automatically think of Tom Nook. Buck and I really wanted to see him without his ears, so here is a 'When Tom met Buck' scenario!
