The Truth About Santa

I believe in Santa as a concept. Like. Give gifts to people. Freely. Without expecting anything back. Like. My boyfriend is my Santa Claus because he bought me a wonderful gift out of the blue and for no reason other than to give me something he thought I would enjoy.

But I never bought into it when I was a kid, and my dad told me the truth when I asked. So. I think that should be the standard.

I kind of/didn't believe in Santa when I was young, my mum never believed in Santa or w/e since she's Christian. She didn't really like tell us anything and whatnot.

When they're old enough to know the Santa is not real then I'll tell them. If they find out about it by themselves; then great.
I don't know what age but yea.

Santa is Santa.

my parents never told me he didnt exist...you just get older and realize its not real....o_O

i wouldnt tell my kids he doesnt exist because they'll realize on their own eventually, who sits down and tells their kid "sweetie, its time for you to know that santa is actually not real," lol?

I don't believe in Santa, nor Christmas, and I never had. Why?

Few things to point out about Christmas:
1. Unbiblical.
2. 25 December = date of a Pagan Festival and birthday of an unconquered god (look up Sol Invictus) established in 274. > Church in Rome (Roman Catholic Church. Hey, didn't they establish Christmas lol) unable to stamp the Festival > 'spiritualised' Festival as 'Feast of the Nativity of the Sun of Righteousness' (JD Douglas, 223)
3. Why the hell would a Christian celebrate a Pagan holiday?

Considering that I'm a Christian. Not trying to start war, srry if I offended some people here.
