Resident Night Mare
Stepping outside of Salem for a minute here. I'll get back to it tomorrow, I promise.
I've been feeding that love of Arthurian tales and legends I spoke of the other day (yeah, sorry for the mini-novel on that post. I guess I rambled a bit. ). Yesterday, there was a package on my step when I got home - two books that finish a series. I'd read the first book when it came out years ago, but never got around to picking up the rest of the trilogy. A couple more from a different series are en route. Yay! for new books to read!
Letting my Inner Child come out for a little bit, I also got the DVD set of a cartoon series from the early 90s and a 3-volume comic set, both called King Arthur & the Knights of Justice, although I don't believe they are related. Now if someone would come out with a manga series, I'd be a very happy girl!
A friend also told me that the last book in a series I've been reading has come out - A Lost Witch. The series is called Modern Witch by Debra Geary. If you like light fantasy/romance, it's worth checking out.
All these new stories to read remind me that I need to finish up editing my story so I can get it submitted and have time to figure out the whole converting to Kindle bit, both for this and the first in the series. Guess I know what I'll be doing this 4th of July (my next day off)!
OK, that concludes this trip into geekiness. We now return you to your regularly scheduled blog posts.
