I am trying to do the Reset trick but every time I look at the campsite its empty does any know if the firework show is the cuase of this?

If the campsite is empty, that means no one will be camping on that day.

Campers for me usually come on Tuesday's and Wednesday's, that's usually when there's campers. Rarely Monday's, sometimes Thursday if I'm lucky, and never Friday's. I dunno, it could be different for everyone else.

Campers don't usually appear in close consession, they are usually at least 2 or 3 days apart from eachother. If you do the reset trick and find no camper on your first try, that doesn't mean that there wont be one on your second. As long as you don't load up any existing residents, you will get a new shot at a camper each time. It's a long process with no gaurantees either way.
