The 1933–34 Wyoming Cowboys basketball team represented the University of Wyoming during the 1933–34 NCAA men's basketball season in the United States. The head coach was Willard Witte, coaching in his fourth season with the Cowboys. The team finished the season with a 26–4 record[1] and were named national champions by the Helms Athletic Foundation.[2][3]

The sport of field lacrosse was played at the 1904 Summer Olympics, which marked the first time that lacrosse had been featured at the Olympic Games. Three teams participated — two from Canada and one from the United States. One of the Canadian teams consisted entirely of Mohawk nation players.[1] The victorious Shamrock Lacrosse Team is more commonly known as the Winnipeg Shamrocks.
Ramlila (Rāmlīlā) (literally 'Rama’s lila or play') is any dramatic folk re-enactment of the life of Rama according to the ancient Hindu epic Ramayana or secondary literature based on it such as the Ramcharitmanas.[1] It particularly refers to the thousands[2] of Hindu god Rama-related dramatic plays and dance events, that are staged during the annual autumn festival of Navratri in India.[3] After the enactment of the legendary war between Good and Evil, the Ramlila celebrations climax in the Dussehra (Dasara, Vijayadashami) night festivities where the giant grotesque effigies of Evil such as of demon Ravana are burnt, typically with fireworks.[4][5][6]
Mable Ferguson (born January 18, 1955 in Los Angeles, California) is an American athlete who mainly competed in the 400 metres. She made the Olympic team just weeks after graduating from Ganesha High School in Pomona, California. At the time before Title IX, high schools had no athletic programs for girls. Her 51.91 from the semi-final of the Olympics was the fastest on record for a high school girl to that point in time.[1]
The men's 4×200 metre freestyle relay was a swimming event held as part of the swimming at the 1924 Summer Olympics programme.[2] It was the fourth appearance of the event, which had been established in 1908. The competition was held from Friday to Sunday, 18 to 20 July 1924.
