There may be a new way to get Blue roses

Yeah, there are roses, you silly. They've been in every game. Some flowers are just a pain to get, since every island has a native flower as well. Roses appear to be pretty uncommon on these forums.

Lol! I guess I kinda forgot about them since I haven’t been able to buy/plant them. My starting flower is hyacinths then and I was able to find a rare tulip island and transplant a bunch of those...
So I think you can find a rare flower island that isn’t your native flower.

not 100% sure because I don't know the context here but it may be that they just planted a blue rose there and picked it? The way the roses are planted in the first place gives me the impression that they aren't familiar with the regular way to breed flowers anyway, and they may have just found the blue rose on a nook miles island? However if it is as new breeding combination that's really exciting to see it found out this early!

I actually asked him, and he said it spawned/crossbred. Actually got an updated image of it fully growing in finally off his stream.



So, yeah. I definitely think there is a new combination for blue roses.

Green mums...? I'm finding this article hard to believe. Like, I know green chrysanthemums exist IRL.. but, yeah.

I think hybrids found on hybrid islands act differently which is why these above spawned blue roses.

I believe this may be true because I had a yellow hyacinth + red hyacinth planted together and got a orange hyacinth. It takes a red hyacinth + white hyacinth to get orange though. Was very confused since I have no white hyacinths.

red+white = pink

red+yellow = orange

Oops, I meant to say pink grew from red and yellow. There was an orange nearby so maybe it had something to do with it

I believe this is correct. In NH the hybrids you get from hybrid islands are the only way to get specific hybrids (like blue roses). I think this takes away the “special flower” method from games past
